"Jason, quit your bouncing around! You're giving me a headache." Chris Irvine said to his boyfriend Jason Reso. "You're acting like you haven't seen Adam in months, when I know for a fact you just saw him like yesterday when we were home for the break."

Jason's best friend Adam Copeland had just called his cell phone with the good news that the doctor had released him to come back to wrestling. Vince had immediately told the scriptwriters to write Adam back into the script, so they were trying to get him into Mania this coming up weekend. Adam was told to fly in, and work with the guys so he didn't look too rusty when he made his appearance in front of the crowd again.

"I know, Chris, but this is just great…Edge and Christian re-unite! Can you believe it? Maybe they'll let us re-form the E&C Connection! That would like so totally reek of awesomeness!" Jason replied as he sat down in a chair.

Jason could not stay seated long, though. As exited as he was, he almost immediately got up and started pacing again. He had been together with Adam as long as he could remember. They had been best friends for forever, it seemed to him. This bout of recovery time Adam was out had really bothered him, mainly due to the separation, but also because Adam had been acting strange recently when he'd been going by to see him with Chris whenever they were at home. He almost thought that maybe Adam didn't like Chris, but he knew that they were pretty good friends.

Chris sat back in his chair and closed his eyes, raising his hand to rub his temples. He hadn't been joking with Jason when he said he was getting a headache. He was happy for Jason that Adam was coming back, hell, he had to be happy for him, and everyone knew that those two were inseparable. Personally, he didn't understand how they had never gotten involved with each other, but he wasn't going to complain, because that meant he had his Jason. Okay, so he had to share a part of him with Adam, but hey, he had close friends too, so he could understand that.

"Chris, is it time to go pick him up at the airport yet?" Jason asked, bouncing over to the door, looking for the entire world that he was going to walk out it any second, despite the fact that he hadn't gotten dressed yet.

"Uhm, Baby, his flight doesn't get in for like two more hours. Besides, don't you think you should put something on before you walk out that door?" Chris replied, trying not to laugh.

Jason looked down and noticed seemingly for the first time that he was naked. "Oh yeah," he replied "I kind of forgot. Damnit! Two more hours? Fuck! I'm going to go take a shower and get dressed, and then we'll head out. The flight might get in early!"

Chris just shook his head as he watched Jason disappear quickly into the bathroom, before heading over to his suitcase and pulling out some clothes. Almost before he could get dressed, Jason was out of the bathroom, dressed, and heading over to put on his shoes.

"I don't think you have ever taken a shower that fast in your entire life, Baby. Much less gotten dressed, brushed your hair and been ready to go. Shit, it took you less than ten minutes!" Chris exclaimed.

"Well, with the short hair it doesn't take as long. Come on, aren't you ready yet Chris?" Jason asked, noticing that Chris hadn't brushed his hair or gotten on his shoes yet.

"Five minutes, Jason. Just give me five minutes. That's all I ask" Chris muttered, trying to find his hairbrush in his travel bag.

"Here, use mine, just let's GO! I don't want Adam to have to wait for us to get there." Jason wined.

"Jason, trust me, Adam will not have to wait for us. His flight is not even scheduled to land for one hour and forty-five minutes. I am pretty sure that it has a delay on that as well. Your poor precious little Adam will get off the plane to find his lovely little 'Jaybird' standing right there at the exit ramp waiting for him, so just calm yourself down and let me finish getting ready." Chris growled, growing annoyed by Jason's anxiety.

Jason flopped down into a chair, glaring at Chris. He just did not understand Chris sometimes. Chris seemed to like Adam just fine, but sometimes he just acted so jealous of him or something. Okay, so he was very close to Adam, but it wasn't like he was cheating on Chris or anything. It was just Adam, and that's how they were. Chris had seemed okay with it before Adam had been injured last year, but recently Chris just acted different about the situation. But then, he had noticed a bit of tension radiating from Adam recently where Chris was concerned, too. He guessed he'd just have to talk to Addy and find out what the problem between them was.

"Okay, Jason, I'm ready. You do realize we are going to have a long wait once we get to the airport, right? Would you rather go pick up some lunch or something before we head over there?" Chris asked, trying to find something to do that would kill the time before the flight landed other than just sit in an airport terminal, being hounded by fans, in between listening to his lover gush about another man.

"No, Chris, I told you, I don't want him to have to wait for us!" Jason complained.

"Alright, let's just go, then." Chris mumbled, growing resigned to his fate.

"Adam! Over here, Sweetie!" Jason screamed. He was literally jumping up and down excitedly, much as he'd been doing since he and Chris had gotten to the airport four hours ago.

"Jaybird, stop your squealing! Now come over here and greet me properly, Angel." Adam ordered, smiling over at Jason.

Jason took off running over towards Adam smiling and giggling excitedly. He wrapped his arms around Adam and brought his face forward to kiss him quickly. Then he just held on tight, talking a mile a minute about how happy he was that Adam was back.

Chris followed behind Jay over to Adam in a much more sedated pace, a frown on his face as he watched his lover carrying on with his best friend. Something Jay said was bothering him, but he could not figure out what it was. Adam transferred Jason over to his left side and reached his right hand out to Chris as he approached them. Chris looked over at the two best friends and what was bothering him suddenly clicked into place. Jason called Adam 'sweetie' and 'Addy' and 'honey' or whatever other pet name that came into mind, but he always called him by his name. It seemed like such a small thing really, but it bothered him. Chris made a mental note to try to talk to him about it, and smiled at Adam for Jason's benefit.

"So, Adam, how's it feel to be back?" Chris asked, more out of politeness than to really want to know.

Jason suddenly quieted down, obviously to hear Adam's answer, and that also bothered Chris a bit, because Jason had not worried about trying to hear what he had to say, but he just put that down to the exitedness of having Adam back. Chris figured that would end soon enough. Jason never seemed to be quiet, and truth to tell, Chris usually enjoyed that fact. Okay, so there were times that Chris just wished he would be quiet for maybe five minutes, or that he would let him get a word in edgewise, but normally, he liked the excitement that was Jason. When he didn't have a headache. When they weren't arguing. When he wasn't trying to sleep. Okay, time to change THAT thought process; it was just starting to upset him.

"Man, it like totally reeks of awesomeness! It's sooo radical to be back here in the WWE! I mean, like Maybe Vince will let me and my Angel here tag together again. That would totally rock!" Adam said, growing exited once again by the possibilities.

"Oh, God, Addy, maybe Vince will let you come out and interfere with Chris and I's match at Mania. We could use it to re-form the E&C connection! Then we could like totally rule the tag division again. Take those belts back from RVD and Booker. They like totally reek of suckatude! I mean, they don't even have a tag team name! What kind of shit is that?" Jason complained.

"Jaybird that would totally rock! Christian and Edge, together again! I can see the headlines now! But Angel, what about your feud with Chris? That is just starting to heat up! Would you like to stay in the singles division for awhile? It'd get you some major recognition. I mean, come on, Angel, you like totally reek of success after this year without me. Want to enjoy your high then when this feud dies down, we return to tag? We could be together like out at ringside with each other, then slowly start to wrestle together again?" Adam asked, concerned that Jason was trying to cut his spotlight short to help him out.

"We can worry about this later, guys. The airport, being surrounded by fans is not exactly the place to be discussing storylines, now is it?" Chris asked, ever the sensible one in the Canadian stable, as he turned and headed over to the baggage claim area, the other two following after him, still bantering between themselves.

Well, Benoit was sensible too, now that Chris thought about it, maybe even more so than him, but he wasn't here right now, was he? And whose fault is that? A voice asked in the back of his head. I know it was my fault, he answered, but do you have to torment me about it? He was better off not having to deal with my crap. While it might not be so bad trying to deal with a relationship between split brands, dealing with a relationship between two separate companies is an entirely different matter. I just couldn't stay with WCW, it was too bad there. And did he ever move on to a new relationship? The voice taunted. He moved on. Of course he did! So what if he isn't involved with someone right now, okay, as far as I know hasn't been involved with anyone since we broke up, but that isn't the point. It isn't like he's pining for me or anything. Chris told the voice. Well, why didn't you TRY to make it work? The kliq has managed to stay together between all the crap they have to deal with. Think about all the things they've stayed together through: separate brands, separate companies, drugs, alcoholism, injuries, marriages, divorces, children, hell, even cheating with other men and/or women! Yeah, but they are just a group of friends, not a big group romantic relationship! He scoffed to the voice. Yeah, tell that one to Jean-Paul and Mike the voice taunted again, they'll love it! Or what about Kevin and Scott? Kevin won't even come back to WWE because Vince doesn't want to re-hire Scott and he doesn't feel the need to come back without him. Hell, he even went so far as to publicly announce THAT one in an interview. Well I'm not the kliq, I'm Chris Irvine and I had to do what I thought was best for Benny, okay? Now shut up before I start muttering this shit out loud and Jason and Adam look at me like I'm crazy or something.

"Hey Adam, you got a room reserved yet?" Chris asked.

"Well, I kind of forgot to take care of that in all the hurry to get my stuff packed and make the flight on time. I'm sure I can find one once we get to the hotel. Where are we staying at anyway?" Adam responded, reaching out to grab one of his bags as it came around.

"Vince has us at the Marriot." Jason replied. "I hope they have a room left. I mean, with both brands there, even with everyone pairing up to cut down on all the rooms we'll need, there are only so many to go around. And once you add in all the fans coming here for Mania, I just don't know, honey."

"Oh, well. I'll figure something out. This is everything. You guys ready to go?" Adam asked.

"Dude, come on, don't you have ANYTHING left? I'll take anything. SOMEWHERE in the city of New York HAS to have a room available for this weekend! This is ridiculous!" Adam complained. Flipping his cell phone off and looking in the phonebook for the number to yet ANOTHER hotel.

"Sweetie, don't worry about it. We'll see if we can find someone who's got a room to themselves and squeeze you in there. Okay, so a cot in Mike's room isn't going to be the most comfortable, but….hey, we've been through worse, and it's just the weekend! We've been through worse. Remember that time we got stuck in that run down nasty little 'hotel' in Richmond? The one that was supposed to be a double for us to share but turned out to be a little tiny twin bed and it had no door to the bathroom. Hell, there wasn't even any floor space so that one of us could sleep on the floor. And we ended up, err, never mind, we'll find you something! Let's go." Jason said, glancing uneasily over at Chris before taking Adam's hand and leading them all upstairs to the top floor, where the few wrestlers that got rooms to themselves were staying at, along with the headliner crew, and upper management.

"I can't help it Angel. I'm here, it's like Wrestlemania weekend, and I have nowhere to sleep. This reeks of suckatude!" Adam wined.

"Think of it this way honey, if all else fails, you can stay with Chris and I! We don't mind, do we, Chris?" Jason asked.

"I'm sure we can find Adam somewhere to stay, baby, don't worry about it." Chris hedged patronizingly, trying to be diplomatic about the situation. He truly did not like the idea of Adam staying in there room with them for the entire weekend, but then again, he could not be cold and callous enough to leave his boyfriend's best friend with nowhere to stay, either. He truly prayed SOMEONE would be willing to let Adam stay with them.

"Angel, you're such a Godsend. What would I ever do without you? "Adam asked, throwing a possessive arm around Jason's shoulders.

"Sweetie, why would you ever be without me? We've been together as long as I can remember. Come on, I mean like my first memory is us learning to ice skate, that was such a funny day, remember it?" Jason asked, not noticing the possessive look in Adam's eyes where he was concerned, nor the look of shock in Chris's. He was too lost in memory of the things he had done with Adam.

"I think the first thing we should do is go to Shane and see what he has to say. I mean, he personally made the arrangements for this one. You know their belief, Mania is too important to trust to anyone outside the family and all that nonsense." Chris said, trying to turn the conversation back to safer ground, and find a way to get rid of Adam for a while at the same time.

"Well, what room is he in?" Adam asked, ready to get things settled so he could figure out what and who he was going to be stuck with. He still needed to get together with Vince and JR as well, to find out what was going to be done with him. On top of that, he wanted to go get something to eat as well, since he had been too rushed to worry about that before he left home, and too exited to eat on the plane.

"Suite 1205. He brought his family with him. I just hope he's in his room." Chris said. "Let's get a move on; I'm sure you want to find out what he can do, so you can get yourself settled. We need to get to the gym and work out before the meeting this afternoon, too."

"Coolness, dude! I haven't had the chance to do that, either. Mind if I tag along?" Adam asked, heading down the hall to the before mentioned room.

"Yeah, that'd be awesome!" Jason squealed with delight before Chris could say anything about it.

"Don't you have to see Vince, though?" Chris asked, trying to deter him.

"Damn, yeah, I do. Shit. Well, you want to go catch something to eat after ya'll go work out Angel? I want to talk to you, anyways." Adam asked, smiling at Jason as he raised his hand to knock on Shane's door.

"Awesomeness, Addy! Meet you in the lobby around four? That way we got time before the meeting." Jason replied as the door was opened by Shane.

Shane opened the door and looked out into the hallway at the trio of men standing there. Adam, who was standing closest to the door, was smiling at Jason in what looked to him as a very loving manor. Jason, who was standing close enough to be brushing against Adam, was gazing back at his best friend, totally oblivious to the situation around him between his best friend and his boyfriend. Shane actually figured by the way Jason acted that he was unaware of Adam's feelings. He was probably oblivious to his own feelings towards Adam, as well. Chris, he noticed, was watching the two jealously, but there was also an underlying relief in his eyes, as well, Shane noticed. Well, what do we do about this situation Shane wondered?

"Come on in. Join the party. It seems like everyone wants to talk to me today." Shane said, as he led them into the room, where Chris Benoit was sitting, obviously he had been talking to Shane about something important.

"Are we interrupting anything?" Irvine asked, looking between the two, and trying not to stare longingly at Benoit.

"Not at all. We were just talking about last minute plans for Sunday's match between Benoit, Mike, and Paul. Is there something I can do for you boys?" Shane asked, noticing Chris and Chris stealing hungry glances at each other when the other wasn't not looking.

"Yeah, Shane. I have a little problem." Adam stated. "I kind of can't find a room for this weekend. Can you help?"

"What do you mean, you don't have anywhere to stay, Addy? Didn't Chris and I just tell you out in the hallway that you could stay with us?" Jason asked, a frown creasing his brow at the thought of not getting his way.

"Baby, Adam might feel more comfortable if there's someone that has a room to themselves and is willing to share, than trying to fit three of us into the same room. I know you just want to make him feel less scared about what to do by offering, but let's let Shane see what he can do, okay?" Irvine said, trying to pacify Jason, and get Adam out of their room at the same time.

"Angel," Adam whispered, trying not to be overheard by anyone else who might be in Shane's suite, i.e. Shane's family "What Chris is trying to say is that as much as you and I would love to be able to spend all night sitting up, going over old times and giggling like schoolgirls, he wants to get some sleep at some point, and he knows how we get when we're together. He knows that we will keep him up, laughing, and talking 'till all hours of the morning, and then you won't want to do whatever it is you have to do during the day tomorrow."

"But Addy, I want you to stay with me. We haven't spent any time together in so long. Any REAL time anyways. We never go out and do stuff like we used to, or stay up all night talking about anything and everything under the sun, or even talk the same way. I don't like it, I want MY Adam back!" Jason wined, not even bothering to try to keep his voice down. He was growing upset about the thought of being separated from Adam so soon after he showed up, and it was showing. Truth be told, he did not care if he was acting like a spoiled little brat. He just knew that he wanted to have some time with Adam, and Chris was denying it. Adam was starting to look at him the way he used to, like he really WAS his best friend or something, and he did not want that feeling to go away.

Jason remembered the one time he had tried to make more of that look than Adam meant by it, and how bad THAT had gone over. Adam was upset by Jason coming on to him like that, but he had put it off as Jason having too much to drink and had let it pass. Jason had made a vow then and there that he would never again do anything that would make Adam stiffen up and stare at him like that again. The look of shock on Adam's face had hurt him, and he had hidden in the bathroom crying for hours after that. Adam had pounded on the door for a while telling him he wasn't mad at him, but Jason knew he was. After that, he had been very careful to never act inappropriate with him again, and they had eventually gone back to being the best of friends, and acted like nothing had happened. Then Chris had come along, and finally things had begun to change between them. Chris took a lot of Jason's time, which did not bother Jason, because any relationship took time, and he and Chris got along, cared about each other, and let's face it, Jason thought to himself, Chris is awesome in bed. Adam, on the other hand had broken up with his girlfriend, and since had not started dating anyone else. Jason thought that was odd, because Adam had always had a girlfriend since Jason could remember. If he broke up with one, he was dating a new one within a week. It was like a fear of loneliness or something. Which Jason also couldn't understand, because Adam knew he would always be there, but he had always seemed to need a girlfriend for some reason. Jason knew it wasn't for sex, because, well, Addy was never home to have sex with them, but maybe it was having someone there when he got home? Well, maybe, but then, a lot of times when they had gone home, they had just gone to one of their houses and stayed there, alternating which house to stay at. That way they only had one place to clean up when they left to go back to work. Whatever it was, it seemed to change since Adam had been hurt.

"Okay, I have an idea, here," Shane said stepping in before anything else could be said, "Why don't Adam and Jason share a room then. I'm sure Chris could do without Jason at night for one weekend. It won't be that big of a deal. Does that work for the three of you?"

"Uhm, Shane, the reason we originally came here is because there isn't a room in the city to be had. One way or the other, we need a room for someone." Adam said, smiling at Jason, whose world seemed to have lightened up at the thought of sharing a room, i.e. Adam's time, for the entire weekend again.

Irvine on the other hand, looked about ready to explode, Shane noticed. You could tell in subtle ways, like the way his hands were clenched into fists at his sides, or the steel smile on his face, and most noticeable to Shane, was the way he had suddenly started to pay attention to the conversation again, instead of trying not to get caught watching Benoit.

"Well, that would be where Benoit comes into play. You see, he has a room to himself this weekend. He was supposed to be sharing with Mike, but Kevin and Scott are here for some Party Kevin is hosting, so Mike and Paul are staying in a suite with them. I hear Sean and Justin are even in town for it. I hate to say it, but that wasn't one of Dad's best ventures. Trying to split those guys, I mean. I doubt Paul would have stuck around if it weren't for Steph, and Mike only sticks around so Paul won't be alone. The rest of them, well, let's just say they're a very loyal bunch. The last thing you want to do is try to come between any of them. I think that was Paul and Steph's first fight, actually. But do you really want to hear about that?" Shane asked, hoping they would say yes, since he figured this story might help this tangled mess that Adam/Jason/Irvine/Benoit seemed to him to be having. It reminded him a lot of the kliq, actually. Best friends/lovers rolled up into one, and not realizing it till it was almost too late. Well, he wasn't going to let the same thing happen to these boys as had happened to the originals. There would be A LOT less problems if someone stepped in and helped them out, instead of what his father had done, which was step into the original set, and try to tear them apart. It had almost worked, but the kliq had been stronger than that, and all it had done in the end was turning a lot of mistrust into their family from the rest of the workers. NOT AGAIN he thought to himself.

"I want to know, Shane." Benoit said shyly, speaking for the first time since the other three Canadians walked into the room. He had a feeling he knew part of the story Shane was going to tell, and hoping against hope that it would be enough to let Irvine know that he had to give Jason up. Maybe if that happened, Chris and he would be able to get back together. He knew he had never gotten over Chrissy, and he hoped that he felt the same way. If not, maybe they could at least get over the awkwardness between them. Friends were better than nothing, as far as he was concerned. Evidently Adam felt the same way, since he was Jason's best friend, and anyone could tell that he felt a lot more, Benoit mused to himself as he watched Adam naturally slide his arms around Jason's waist and lay his chin on Jason's shoulder, looking for all the world as though he had the right to do so, while Jason's boyfriend stood right there, too. Okay, so it appeared to be pissing Chris off, but…

Okay, maybe two could play at this game, Benoit thought to himself as he moved in front of Irvine and leaned back slightly so he was barely brushed against him. Chris evidently took the hint on autopilot because he automatically wrapped his arms around Benoit's waist and pulled him back against him, evidently without thinking.

"Okay, this is a long story, everyone comfy, or would you rather we go sit down?" Shane asked sarcastically, looking at the four men, who were now wrapped around each other. The two in the backs glaring at each other, the two in the front smiling shyly at each other, as though giving permission to the other to be wrapped around the other men.

Everyone headed over to the couch while Shane walked over and threw the deadbolt on the door, explaining he did not want anyone walking in on the story he was about to tell. He returned to the living area and pulled a chair over to face the couch the other men were now sitting on. Adam and Irvine sitting on opposite ends of the couch, Jason and Benoit sitting in the other men's laps respectively. Shane eyed the situation hopefully, thinking the switch from Irvine to Copeland for Reso was a good start, and hopeful that Irvine and Benoit would be able to make a go of it this time as well. Considering the advances that had been made so far today, he figured if they would all just accept the situation, they would be able to walk away from it as friends, instead of bitter enemies.

"Well, first, I want you gentlemen to understand, what I am about to tell you goes no further than this room. This is a private story, which under any other circumstances I wouldn't tell you; but…Actually, let me go make a quick phone call before I start. I need to go re-schedule a meeting. Make yourselves comfortable, I'll be right back. Actually, Adam might be hungry, so why don't you order something sent up from room service for us to eat. Order a lot, because I'm kind of hungry myself." Shane said, as he walked out of the room.

"Hey, are you guys busy? I need to ask a favor…." Shane said quietly into the phone.

Someone knocking on the door drew the attention of the four men on the couch. Benoit climbed off of Irvine's lap to go answer, figuring it must be the room service they had ordered at the request of Shane, and was surprised to see Mike, Paul, Kevin and Scott standing there at the door. Shocked, he stepped back to allow them into the room.

"Shane is in the other room. Come in and I'll get him for you." Jason stammered, turning to walk over to the door that Shane had left through earlier. At the same time the door opened and Shane walked into the room and straight over to the group of men who had just walked in.

"Thank you gentlemen for coming over here. I truly appreciate it. Come in and make yourself comfortable. As I promised, dinner will arrive in a few moments; I took the liberty of calling down and adding to your order, Benoit. Paul, Kevin, could you do me the favor of dragging this other couch over here adjacent to the other one so we may all sit down?" Shane said, as it became obvious to the Canadian faction just whom Shane had called earlier.

Irvine and Benoit were obviously uncomfortable about the idea of discussing their personal problems with this older group of men, but Shane was leaving them no choice. Both men secretly hoped that Shane did not realize the exact extent of the problems running through them, but they held the sneaky suspicion that Shane knew much more about the situation than any of the rest of them. Even worse, he planned to make all of them aware of whatever it was that he wanted them to see, at whatever the cost.

Adam and Jason, on the other hand, never moved from their position on the couch. Jason still sat on Adam's lap, not looking as if he planned to move any time soon unless someone asked him to do so. Both looked quite comfortable together as if this was a common occurrence and they were the couple instead of Jason being involved with Irvine.

As Kevin and Paul moved the other couch adjacent to the one that Jason and Adam were currently sitting on another knock sounded at the door and Shane went to answer it. He returned a few moments later with Sean and the food. Evidently both had shown up at the same time.

"Hey, Kid, where's Justin?" Mike asked walking over to where Shane was still rolling carts laden with food into the room. "Want some help there, Shane?" he asked.

"Sure, Mike. Thanks. Just get this one while I tip the bellboys, and we can get started. I'm going to put a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, too." Shane told them.

"Good idea, Shane. Kid, you're quiet, what's up? And where IS Justin?" Paul asked, walking over to one of the carts where he began removing lids from plates. "You boys might want to come on over here and get yourself some food before we get started. Don't know when you'll get a chance to again." He added.

"Justin called right after you guys left. He said his flight had been delayed and he won't get it till seven tonight. He said to tell you two he'd see you after your meeting tonight. We'll go grab a drink or something then, okay?" Sean said, gesturing towards Paul and Mike before grabbing a plate and beginning to fill it. "What ya got to drink here, anyways, Shane?"

"Don't worry, I have Mt. Dew. You're safe. Drinks are in the fridge over there." Shane said pointing to a wall next to where the couch had been at.

After everyone had gotten their food, they all settled down on the couches and the chair. Adam sat on one couch; Jason snuggled up in his lap, chattering away happily between bites of food. Irvine sat next to them, looking distinctly uncomfortable about the conversation getting ready to take place, and also extremely unhappy about his boyfriends choice of seats. Benoit sat beside him, his plate in his lap, glancing nervously around the room. On the adjacent couch sat Paul, with Mike in his lap, an empty cushion with four plates on it, then Kevin with Scott curled up on him. These four men were currently talking between themselves about a trip they were planning for when they were all off again. In the chair sat Shane, with Sean on the floor sitting between his legs. Shane would occasionally reach over and play with Sean's curls. Sean was talking animatedly with the other kliq members, while Shane was watching the others, trying to figure out a good place to start.

After a few minutes, Shane and Kevin shared a look and then Kevin cleared his throat quietly. The other four kliq members took this as a signal and quieted down immediately. Jason however, not noticing this, continued talking animatedly with Adam and Irvine. Well, more Adam than anything, but he did occasionally say something to his boyfriend. After listening to him for a few more moments, Kevin tried clearing his throat again a little louder this time. This time, Adam noticed him and repeated the gesture, which surprisingly caused Jason to be quiet.

"Well, boys, Shane has asked us to talk to you about something that he feels to be important, so to start with, I would like to ask you some questions, and then we have a little story to tell you. Is this okay with you?" Kevin asked, looking over to the other couch, waiting to see who would answer, and he was slightly surprised to notice that even with the tension between the four men, all of them immediately looked to of all people Jason to answer the question.

"We will be happy to answer any questions you have. But I would like to say that we reserve the right to ask any that occur to us, as well. Does that seem fair to you?" Jason asked.

"Fair enough. Mind if I ask the first one?" Kevin replied.

"Please do." Returned Jason.

"Fine, first and foremost: if Irvine is your boyfriend, why are you sitting in Copeland's lap?" Kevin threw at him.

"What?" Jason sputtered. Jason jumped up from Adam's lap and stormed over to Kevin. "What is that supposed to mean? Right now I see Scott sitting in your lap, but last time I saw you Sean was sitting there. And now Mike is sitting in Paul's lap, but usually Stephanie is sitting there. Need I go on, I could mention Sean and Shane, or"

"That's enough!" Kevin shouted. "I asked a question. That is all I did. Just answer it, and then you may take your turn. There will be no hysterics here, nor will there be any backbiting, or name calling. If you cannot agree with these rules, we will leave now."

"Jaybird, come sit back down. Don't aggravate Kevin, or they won't help us. That's my Angel." Adam murmured, wrapping his arms around Jason comfortingly.

"But Addy..." Jason broke in.

"No, Jaybird. Behave. Now, would you like to answer the questions, or would you prefer that we all answer some of them?" Adam cut him off.

"I guess whoever it suits best, baby." Jason told him.

"What was your question, Kevin?" Irvine asked.

"Okay, this is how we'll work the question and answer section, I start, I will ask a question, whoever I ask, will answer me, then be free to ask anyone in the room a question in return, then it is that person's turn, and so on till everyone has no more questions. Does that seem fair? That way you can ask anyone a question, even someone in your own group. Everyone agree?" Kevin asked. After everyone nodded, Kevin repeated "Jason, if Irvine is your boyfriend, why are you sitting in Adam's lap?"

"I am sitting here because I haven't seen Adam in a long time and I miss him. Chris doesn't mind, he knows I am not cheating on him or anything. Okay, my turn. Scott, are any of the members of the kliq exclusive?" Jason replied.

"Yes. Irvine, do you mind your boyfriend sitting in Copeland's lap? Honestly, not what you SHOULD say, what you feel." Scott responded, knowing Jason wanted more than that, but trying to teach him how to ask his questions.

"Yes and no. Mike, who in the kliq is exclusive?"

Kevin and Scott. Benoit, are you involved with anyone, or are you free for anyone to ask out?"

"I'm single." Benoit responded after glancing at Irvine." Adam, I'll be nice. Are you gay?"

"That's supposed to be nice?" Adam sputtered, turning his head to look at Benoit. He clutched Jason closer to him and stared at Benoit like a deer caught in the headlights. Jason turned slightly to wrap his arms around Adam and began whispering soothingly to him. After a few minutes, Adam got himself together. "No, I am not gay. I have never been with a man before, so I guess not. I will admit, I have found a man attractive before, but that is all. I have found many women attractive. That makes me, what, bi-sexual? Sean, why are you sitting there between Shane's legs like you're his pet or something?"

"Well, last time we were all together, I lost a bet, and this is my punishment. It was either here, with Shane who I am comfortable with, or Benoit, who would have been uncomfortable being my 'master' for the afternoon. I wouldn't have had to do this, but Justin was late, so…Adam, let's try this one…Who was the man you found attractive? And before you get upset, or decide to not answer honestly, I can promise you now, if you answer what I think you will answer, Kevin will go ahead and tell you a story now."

"Damn, Sean, I wanted to ask a few more questions first!" Kevin grumbled.

"Stop it, big sexy. You're going to scare the pups. Sean made a promise, so keep it. You can question them more if need be after the story. Stop with the pouty look! Yes, I love you, but it is not going to work this time!" Scott commanded.

"Jaybird" Adam whispered, defeated.

` Irvine jumped up off the couch and pulled Jason out of Adam's arms before jerking Adam up and punching him in the jaw. Adam immediately responded by going for Irvine's throat.

"Stop it!" Jason screeched, wiggling his way between the two and trying to push them apart.

"Jason, stay out of this." Irvine ordered, landing another punch this time to Adam's abdomen.

"No, Chris. I cannot stay out of this. That is my best friend you are attacking. For no good reason, mind you." Jason wailed, still trying to push them apart.

"Stop it, both of you." Shane said, rejoining the conversation for the first time since Kevin had begun speaking." Now all of you sit down and listen to what Kevin has to say."

Adam sat back down in the same spot. Irvine sat back down next to him, but scooted as far over to Benoit as he could get. Jason continued to stand, as if unsure where to go.

"Come here, Chico." Scott said, opening his arms." You can sit over here with Kev and me. If my fat ass doesn't put Kev's legs to sleep your added weight won't bother him."

"You don't mind?" Jason asked, looking like a small child who had just been told his puppy had died.

"Trust me, sweetling; Scotty is the best place to be when you're hurting. I can promise you that. But, I'll get to that part later. Where should I start?" Kevin asked Paul.

"Well, I would start right before you two defected to the competition." Paul smirked. "That time period is about the same for us as the problem these boys are having now, don't you think, darlin'?" Paul asked Mike.

"I guess, but I would personally go back to the Diesel days, just to touch on how all this started. You Sean?" Mike volleyed over to the other side of the respective court.

"I gotta agree with Mike here, Kevin. You might want to touch on that time period just to give them some background. Fuzzy? Any opinions?" Sean asked Scott.

"Well, I guess that works, big man. Just don't be long winded. These boys do have a meeting tonight." Scott teased Kevin before leaning back a hair to kiss him gently. "I love you." He murmured.

"I love you, baby. Before I start, I want all of you to know, if any of this information gets out, we will know where it came from, and as you all know, the kliq is a very vindictive bunch. Got it?" Kevin asked, looking closely at all four of the Canadian men before deciding to continue.

Kevin settled back into the couch and wrapped his arms tightly around Scott; as if afraid he would disappear if he loosened his grip. Scott leaned back into him and whispered soothingly to him for a few moments before kissing him again. Jason, who was beginning to feel uncomfortable by the glare he was receiving from Irvine, the look of hurt he was receiving from Adam, and the searching look from Benoit, got up and began pacing, waiting for Kevin to tell his story.

"Well it all started about 10 years ago" Kevin began. "I had just come to the WWF from the NWA and gone through several gimmick changes. Finally, Vince decided to capitalize on my size and I became Diesel, bodyguard to the great Shawn Michaels. Scotty was Razor Ramón, and was, as always, a phenomenal wrestler receiving much acclaim and someone whom I could turn to for answers, since we had already met before back in the AWA/NWA, where we were part of the same stable. After awhile, Mike began going to Scotty for answers as well. Pretty soon, there came a new addition, by the name of Paul Levesque, who was really nothing more than a jobber who had gotten lucky due to some raw talent. Mike here thought he was pretty good, so he decided to bring him to Scotty to train. Scotty worked with him in the ring, and Mike and I worked with him on the mic, and pretty soon, he was raised from jobber to midcarder. About this time, there came another new addition to our group, in the name of Sean Waltman, aka the 1-2-3 Kidd. Sean was a kid with a lot of talent already, didn't need much work, and loved the idea of being a sidekick, so Scotty decided to make sure he got over by laying down for him his first two aired matches in the WWF."

"Behind the scenes, the five of us could always be found together, but in all honesty, we were nowhere near rich, due to the fact that pay was nowhere near as good as it is now. To save money where we could, we would generally get a suite and share the accommodations. It was much cheaper than getting separate rooms, and in all honesty, usually cheaper than getting two rooms and splitting them, even. In the beginning, we drew straws to figure out who would sleep where. Usually, a suite has a double room, a king room, and a couch, so what we would do is take two straws, cut one of the into half, so there are two the same size, the second, we would cut into three sections, two of them the same size, and the fifth piece was smaller. Then we would draw the straws. The two with the largest pieces took the double room, the next pair took the king room, and either split the bed, or found a way to get a cot or something. The odd man out got the couch."

"Now, you have to understand, back in those days, homosexuality, or bisexuality even was totally unheard of in wrestling. Those who were, hid the fact, or got tormented and teased mercilessly, if not beaten up, so none of us knew anything about the way the others in the group swung, if they swung at all. Admittedly, it still isn't much better, but back then you had to hide it from your peers, as well as the fans. But, back to the story."

"The way things worked, due to my size, I preferred to draw the straw that said I got the king size bed, that way I wasn't hanging over the end of the bed, and knowing that, when I held the straws, I tried to fix it so I would be left with one of those two straws. After awhile, Scotty noticed that I kind of preferred to be in that room with someone, so being the wonderful man that he is, he didn't say anything about it, but he would also try to fix it so I drew one of those two straws. After awhile, everyone else caught on to that fact, and since no one minded that, even understood the reasoning to it, after awhile we just cut out one of those two straws with the understanding that whoever drew the other one that size was in there with me that night.."

"The next thing we noticed was also relatively simple. We all noticed that Sean had problems sleeping without some background noise. Wherever he drew, he stayed up till all hours watching TV or talking or whatnot, so it became advantageous to everyone concerned that he got the foldout. After awhile, he admitted that he kind of liked sleeping in front of the TV, so no one felt bad about him getting the straw for the couch. Yet again, eventually, we dropped that straw as well."

"Now we were just down to who got the double room, and who stayed in the king room with me. Since it didn't make a lot of since to draw for it, we just decided to alternate who would stay where. But that too, as I'm sure you all have figured out by now, also began to change."

"Scotty and I were already a lot closer to each other than we were to the rest of the kliq, even though we didn't realize exactly how close we would eventually become. It did, in a way, make us feel bad that we seemed to prefer each other's company than that of the rest of our brothers, as we had already begun to call ourselves, but we all reasoned that every family has some siblings that are closer than others. We also noticed that Paul and Mike were closer to each other than they were to the rest of us as well. Noticing this, we discussed the matter, and decided that Paul and Mike would split the double room, and Scotty and I would take the king one."

"Now Scotty, for some reason I will never understand, and maybe you can get him to explain it to you, because I sure as hell can't get him to explain it to me, didn't like asking the front desk to send a cot up for him to sleep on, so he would sleep on the floor in the beginning. After awhile, I finally decided fuck what he thinks of the matter, and asked him if he wanted to sleep in the bed with me. After a lot of discussion, I finally convinced him, and myself for that matter, which let me tell you, was ALOT harder to do, that I didn't have any designs on that sexy body of his. So, now we were sleeping in the same bed."

"Now, what we didn't know back then was that at the same time, Mike and Paul were also trying to push us together in other ways. They were evidently a little more open about what they discussed than we were, at least about us. What we figured out later was that they were trying to avoid noticing where their own relationship was headed by trying to 'fix' ours. They would decide that all of us should go somewhere, then only Scotty and I would show up, or they would order romantic diners sent up to the room, then bring up avenues of conversation that were along the same lines. Now, in a way, they got caught in their own trap, because to do the things they were trying to do to us, they had to be there to participate in them, so…. But anyways, in all honesty, while Scotty realized what they were trying to do to us, I on the other hand was totally oblivious. I guess I was trying too hard to fight the attraction I already felt for Scotty to pay attention to what they were doing. My baby here, on the other hand, knew what he felt and was trying to not let me see it, because he thought I would hate him if I knew that he wanted me."

"Is any of this sounding familiar to you boys, yet?" Kevin asked, looking pointedly between Adam and Jason

Jason looked over at Kevin specutivly. He thought he understood where Kevin was going with this story, but at the same time, he was unsure of what he should do in his own situation. He was beginning to grow tired of pacing, so he headed back over to the Canadian couch. Adam, who had been watching Jason longingly, opened his arms to Jason, hoping he would see where he belonged, and return to him. Once there, he gazed apologetically at his boyfriend, before fitting himself into Adam's arms. There was a moment's peace that was like a piece of himself clicked into place, almost like coming home, before the doubts set in once again. He looked over at Kevin as if asking what to do now and Kevin once again began to speak.

"I just want to make something clear at this point that all the shit you heard about Scotty's drinking was around this time period. Scotty decided that since he couldn't have me, life wasn't worth living, and decided to take the long slow road to hell. He was slowly trying to drink himself to death, and when that didn't work, he hit the drugs. He wouldn't tell anyone what the real problem was, so even when we broke him out of it for short periods of time, he would end up going right back to it. This was part of the problem that had begun to creep up with Vince. Eventually, Vince fired Scotty. Scotty, by that time, was off the drugs, but still drinking. This was yet again, Vince trying to separate the group of us. Truly, what he wanted to do was get rid of what he saw as our weak link, that being Scotty. What Vince didn't understand was that by this time, the kliq was definitely one entity. There was no such thing as a total separation with the kliq. The day Scotty was fired; I turned in my notice and signed on with the WCW with him. You have to understand, at this point, I was just beginning to accept my situation with Scotty, and I knew that while I could never have him, there was no way he was going to get sent out by himself, with no one to help him. So, off we went to WCW."

"In all honesty, Paul and Mike considered going with us, but could not find a way to get out of their contracts at the time. Sean did join us, as soon as his own contract with the WWF had ended. But at this point, we met two Canadian wrestlers who did a lot to help us, even though they didn't know it at the time. Their names, incase you haven't figured it out for yourselves, were Chris Irvine and Chris Benoit. Also known to everyone backstage collectively as 'Chris'. Yes, Jason, before you ask the question I see you trying to stifle, it was because they were always together. Nor did they try to hide the fact that they were in love. Not just loved each other, but the kind of love that makes you stop and look at them and just know that they will always be together, and that somehow it was right. Even homophobic people seemed to understand that Chris needed to be together, for separate, they just weren't right."

"Scott and I were still sharing a room out of habit, but still hadn't admitted our feeling for each other. Chris pulled me aside one day, on the premise of needing a mediator for their relationship. They told me they were having some difficulties with their sex life. I will not tell you precisely what their problems were, but let's just say, in retrospect, I am pretty sure that they were trumped up, but they made me even more curious about the sexual side of a homosexual relationship, and considering the fact that I already had admitted to myself that I was in love with Scotty, this is what it finally took to make me decide to talk to him."

"That night, after the show, I asked Scotty if we could stay in instead of hitting a bar. I sold a kick to the knee as well as I could, so that he would stay in with me, instead of going out with Sean, or one of the other guys. I ordered room service while Scotty was in the shower, deliberately not ordering any alcohol so Scotty would be clearheaded."

"Now Baby, what I'm going to say next, I have never told you, so please don't interrupt me with any questions till I finish this part, then we can stop to talk for a minute. The important thing I want you to remember is don't be mad at me. That, and remember that I love you. More than anything else in this world, I love you."

"After I ordered room service, I got nervous about what I was going to do, so I did the only thing I could think of. I called Chris. Benoit answered the phone and after I swore him to secrecy, even as far as Irvine was concerned, I told him that I was considering entering a male/male relationship. He told me that Scott and I would be very happy together, which let me know right off that I was more obvious than I tried to be. Unsure about myself, or how to proceed, I asked his advice. Chris told me that he had noticed that Scotty had feelings for me, as well. Then he gave me some advice on how to seduce Scotty."

"Okay, Scotty. Let me have it. I know it's coming." Kevin said, looking at Scott's stiffened posture and knowing he was upset. "Would you rather do this here, or go to another room?"

"I don't know, Kev. If we go to the other room, are you going to tell Chris everything we talked about? I mean, come on, couldn't you have at least discussed it with one of our own?" Scott sniped.

"But baby, at the time, we didn't know about Mike and Paul, and Sean doesn't swing that way, so who else was I going to go to for advice? Chris was the only person we knew that I could talk to."

"And to be honest, that is the only reason I haven't gotten but so pissed, darlin'. But you should have told me at some point. Hell, that night, you agreed with me that we shouldn't tell anyone about it or we would be in a world of shit. Not that we shouldn't tell anyone but Chris, who already knew, but not tell anyone. Nor did you tell me later when we became more open about it that Chris already knew. Damnit, Kev, all I want to know is why?" Scott demanded.

"Baby, the only reason I didn't tell you is there was no need. I didn't want you to be any more self conscious than you already were. After the fact, it just didn't seem too important. Trust me, baby, I love you, I would never do anything to deliberately hurt you, you know that, right?" Kevin asked, rubbing Scott's back soothingly.

"I love you too." Scott sighed. "Fine, we'll finish talking about this later. You may as well go ahead and finish with your story now."

"At some point he's going to get to our side of this, darlin'. Are you going to be okay with that?" Mike asked Paul quietly.

Mike and Paul were whispering quietly between themselves while Kevin and Scott were talking. On the other side of the room, Paul noticed the look of worry on Adam's face and decided that whether he was alright with these boys knowing his personal business, he was going to have to let Kevin tell them anyways. That would probably be what it took for Adam to come fully to grips with this.

On the other couch, Irvine had scooted even closer to Benoit. Truth be told, if he scooted any closer to him, they would be sitting in each other's laps again. So why aren't you sitting in Benny's lap? The cruel voice returned to torment him. Because Benny hasn't given me any indication that…..At this point the single 'Chris" brain kicked in again, evidently, because Benoit picked Irvine up and placed him directly on top of him, wrapping his arms around him, as though to protect him from the world. Irvine lowered his head down onto Benoit's shoulder and lowered his hand to hold Benoit's.

"God, I have missed you, Benny." Irvine whispered raggedly.

"You don't have to miss me, Chrissie; I'm always here for you. I told you that I loved you. That doesn't mean sometimes. That doesn't mean back then. That never ends. I love you forever. Forever and for always." Benoit whispered raggedly before pulling Irvine's head down to meet his own in a passionate kiss, which left both men breathing heavy.

Jason watched the other two Canadians with an odd mix of acceptance, regret, happiness, and relief in his face. He was glad that they had gotten their love back, but at the same time, he knew that things would never be able to be the same between them again. He wasn't sure that they were right, either. Adam found him attractive, yes. And? So what. That didn't mean that Adam wanted to pursue a relationship with him, either. Adam had said straight out that he was not gay, and there was still the time he had tried to be flirty with Adam, and he had gotten shot down. On top of that, he wasn't sure if Adam could handle monogamy. He knew if he were to get him that would mean no more girlfriends. Preferably telling the world about them. Great, now I'm picturing a wedding with me as the bride, he thought to himself.

Adam, on the other hand, was clutching Jason to himself like a small child clings to a teddy bear in the middle of the night after a bad dream. He was petrified of what he was feeling, and while he wanted it, he didn't know what to do about it. Also, there was an uncomfortable ness about trying to come to grips with being in love with your best friend. That, while being the things dreams are made of, is also scary. What if it doesn't work out? Do you lose your best friend? How can it be the same between you after you have taken it too far?

Sean sat on the floor, listening to this conversation, and in a moment of personal weakness, looked up at Shane.

"Oh, right. Almost forgot how this game is played. Sorry, Sean. You may speak." Shane told him.

"Why is it that we know WAY more about homosexual relationships and sex than we ever wanted to?" Sean whispered to Shane.

"Hey, not my fault, Sean. Who took it upon themselves to tell us their problems? Blame them." Shane defended himself.

"Shane, this is sad. I am thirty-some years old and straight. I honestly think that I know more about the kliq's love life than I do about my own. At least before Paul married your sister, I had someone to go out with occasionally. But now? He's either with Stephanie or Mike. He won't cheat on either of them by going out with me. Shit, I can't even get him to go to the strip clubs with me anymore, because Steph might get jealous. Mike doesn't want to go, because he says it's boring. Scotty won't go because he don't drink anymore, so he figures it's a waste of time to go pay money to sit in a bar, drink a coke, and watch women get naked, when he could be at home watching Kevin get naked. And don't even get me started on Kevin. His sorry ass is either working, which I can respect, or shoved so far up Scotty's ass I am surprised he can breathe. Figuratively or literally. Hell, both sometimes." Sean complained.

"It's okay, Kid. At least you don't get weirded out by this shit." Shane told him.

"To tell you the truth, I did at first." Sean confided. "But then, I thought about it and realized that they were still the same people they were before I knew this stuff, so…'Sides, it gives me ammunition to pick on them with." Sean chuckled.

"Is everyone ready for me to continue?" Kevin asked the group, looking around the room and trying to gauge everyone to find out just how much detail he would need to go into on this next part, and praying that Scotty wouldn't mind. He shouldn't. Scotty usually didn't mind talking about sex. Okay, Kevin thought to himself, time to tell them how it happened.

"Scotty was still in the bathroom when room service got there. Okay, so I gave the bellboy like five-hundred dollars to have our dinner up there within ten minutes, but I felt like it was worth it. To this day, I still feel like it was worth it. By the time Scotty got out of the shower, I had hidden a new bottle of baby oil that I had gotten for on camera in the nightstand drawer. I had dimmed the overhead lights and lighten candles on every conceivable surface. I had put some powder on the sheets so they wouldn't get sticky. After finishing all that, I had nothing left to do but wait, and I had made myself nervous and unsure again."

"Scotty came striding out of the bathroom in his sleep shorts, still drying his hair. Let me tell you, in my opinion, there is not a more beautiful sight on the face of this earth than my Scotty wearing nothing but a pair of boxers, water dripping down his body, relaxed, in the candlelight."

Kevin paused in his story to pull Scotty closer to himself. He adjusted him in his lap so that he could kiss him with all the ardor he possessed, branding him yet again as his own. When Kevin pulled away, Scott lay back against him breathing shallowly, filled with that same mix of love and lust he still felt for Kevin, after all these years. Kevin also felt love and lust, but also a sense of wonderment that Scotty would love him, of all people he could have had. He knew that sometimes he was hard to deal with. He was grumpy, bossy, and frankly, a royal asshole at times, but Scotty teased him out of the grumpiness, obeyed his orders without question, and loved him mercilessly when he was being too much of an ass. He truly felt that he got the better end of this deal, but Scotty never seemed to complain, and that just made him love him more.

"Do you ever wish that you had gotten a relationship like theirs, Mike?" Paul asked Mike as Kevin and Scott were kissing.

"Sometimes I do. Don't get me wrong, I love you with all my heart, and I understand how it is with you, but sometimes I just HATE Stephanie McMahon." Mike said a wounded look in his eyes, and pain in his voice.

"So, you knew about them first, huh?" Irvine questioned Benoit.

"Yeah, I did. I actually felt honored to be the one asked for advice by the great 'kliq'. I couldn't break that trust by telling you. You understand, don't you?" Benoit returned.

"Of course I do. Never doubt that, baby." Irvine responded.

Jason looked down at Adam to gauge how he was taking this and was surprised at the hot look in his eyes as he watched Kevin and Scott kissing. Adam wet his lips and turned his glazed look towards Jason to find him gazing down at him. Unsure what to do or say, Jason continued to stare at Adam. Adam, now feeling uncomfortable, looked back at Kevin and Scott. Jason, seeing him turn away turned his own pain filled gaze to Shane and Sean who were whispering between themselves.

"So, do you think we should turn a hose on them?" Shane whispered to Sean.

"Hey, it could be worse, they could ALL be making out!" Sean joked back in reply.

"Don't tempt the fates" Shane joked back.

"At least you don't have to watch this nonsense all the time." Sean replied.

"How do you deal with it? I mean, okay, seeing them kiss occasionally I can deal with, but it would drive me bonkers having to see any more than that. Hell, listening to it is bad enough." Shane complained.

"Actually, after awhile it doesn't even bother you anymore. You kind of grow a tolerance to it." Sean told him, before clearing his throat to get Kevin's attention. Once Kevin was looking at him, he asked him to continue his story, before taking Scott somewhere more private, or taking Scott right there, if the look in his eyes was anything to go by.

"Sorry, where was I?" Kevin said. "Oh, yeah, that's right. Okay."

"Scotty looked around the room, before gazing quizzically at me. He asked me what was up with the décor. Feeling kind of nervous, I told him some shit about since I had asked him to stay in with me that night, since I wasn't feeling too much like going out, I figured I owed him something different to make up for it. Scott looked at me rather funnily before asking if I had gotten any beer."

"Strangely enough, that is the last time Scotty has ever asked for a beer. We don't even have wine with romantic meals; we have Apple or Grape juice. Just wanted to make sure that everyone understood that. My baby reformed himself, and it just made me love him even more. But anyways…"

"I told Scotty that I had forgotten to order any, but we could make due with the cokes they had sent up. Scotty looked panicked for a minute, but then seemed to accept it. He threw his towel back into the bathroom before swaggering over towards the table. I pulled a chair back for him and he jokingly slid into it. Mustering up as much courage as I could, I walked over to the seat across from him and sat down. I served Scotty and then myself from the dinner cart I had positioned adjacent (author's note: yep…the word still makes me laugh) to the table. Once I had served us, I looked over at Scotty and I swear to you, I tried my best, for his sake to stop what I had planned, but I couldn't make myself do it. I had to have him, whatever the cost. I started out subtle, complimenting his mic skills, his teaching technique and his attitude in the locker room with the other guys, whatever I could think of at the time. After awhile, Scotty lightened up, and I got a bit braver, complimenting his looks, and the way he moved. Next, I asked him to dance."

"Scotty evidently thought I was goofing off, or high, or something, but he agreed to dance with me. Later, he told me that he figured that he would make the most of a once in a lifetime situation, but I digress… I started the music I had cued up and pulled Scotty into my arms, holding him tightly against me. My head was swimming with excitement, there were tears of joy in my eyes, a smile that would light the world on my face, my muscles were tensed with anticipation, my heart was pounding with excitement and fear of rejection, and my erection was throbbing painfully in my jeans as 'Can't Fight This Feeling' by REO Speed wagon began to play. I put as much emotion into singing the song to Scott as I could muster. About halfway through the song, I noticed Scotty was humming along quietly, and much encouraged, I lowered my head to kiss him as the song ended."

"Our first kiss was soft and tentative, almost questioning each other, asking for, and receiving permission to continue. Something clicked into me, it felt like I was coming home again after a long absence, and I realized that to me, Scotty WAS home. Scotty was everything and everyone to me, and all the doubts and fears evaporated as our kiss deepened and grew more passionate."

"We were now kissing and swaying back and forth as our kisses deepened, and finally slowly, oh so slowly, I began to run my hands over my baby's gorgeous body. The next thing I knew, my shirt was being yanked out of my jeans so that Scotty could get to my skin. Irritated with any clothes that kept me from being part of my baby, I yanked the shirt over my head, as Scotty unbuttoned my jeans, jerking them down over my hips. I was now standing before the love of my life in nothing but a pair of boxers, and he was wearing the same."

"We made our way over to the bed, where we removed our shorts before lying down and continuing our slow explorations of each other's bodies. I laid Scotty on his back and moved my mouth from his mouth to his ear, kissing every square inch of flesh on my way. Scotty's breathing deepened and he began moaning as I enclosed his earlobe into my mouth, sucking gently. His hands were on every part of my body they could reach, and he was turning me on more than I ever knew was possible with his little gasps and moans. Trying to contain myself, I began kissing and licking my way down his neck to his chest. I have always loved Scotty's chest hair, it feels so good rubbing against my own, and I wanted to run my hands through it. To this day, I can spend hours on end just running my fingers through Scotty's chest hair. I finally reached his chest and quickly moved my mouth over one of his flat nipples, sucking gently. He was by this point thrusting his hips up at me hard and fast, and moaning incoherently with need, so I decided to continue on, remembering all the hot spots I hit on the way for further usage."

"Once I had made my way down his body, was now staring at eye level at the first cock I had ever seen up close. I was slightly unsure of what to do as I stared at that hard, thick, throbbing piece of flesh. It was slightly smaller than mine, but also slightly thicker, and I was unsure of what he would like, so I just decided to do whatever I thought felt good when someone did it to me, and lowered my head to lick around the head softly before engulfing the head into my mouth. Scotty's hands came down to tangle in my hair as he started thrashing around on the bed, moaning incoherently. I could tell he was close by the way he was tensing up, so I began bobbing my head quickly, trying to take as much of him into my mouth as I could, sucking gently, and trying to keep my own body from betraying me just due to finally being able to touch this gorgeous man. Scott came, shooting down my throat and screaming my name, and I thought I would cum right then and there, just from the joy of it. Nothing has ever tasted better to me than the taste of Scotty's essence. I swallowed him down and raised my head to look up at him, smiling at the look of happiness in his face."

"After a few seconds, Scotty pulled me up to kiss him, thrusting his tongue into my mouth, searching out the contours before pulling away slightly. 'My turn' he murmured as he rolled me over and began kissing his way down my body. I was too eager to even try to stay still. I thrust my fingers into Scotty's hair and began thrusting my hips up into his mouth, moaning and yelling incoherently. I think I screamed out Scotty's name repeatedly as I came, but he never let go. He swallowed me down, and continued sucking, getting me hard and exited again."

"Once I was ready, he climbed his way back up my body to return his mouth to mine. After kissing for what felt like hours, he shyly whispered to me that he wanted to feel me inside of him, and if I had died at that exact moment, I would have died happy. In all honesty, there have only been two happier moments in my life, the first being obvious, the day Tristan was born. I might have never loved his mother, but I thank God for that child every day of my life. The second being the first time Scotty told me he loved me, but I will get to that in a few minutes."

"I rolled Scotty back onto his back, and still kissing him, I reached into the nightstand to pull out the baby oil. I opened the cap and poured some into my hand where I rubbed it into my fingers and flipped the cap closed. Moving the bottle to the side, I began my descent of Scotty's body yet again. I took the head of his erection into my mouth. Next, I slipped a finger into his ass, stretching him out, as gently as possible. After he became accustomed to this, I slid in a second, repeating the process, and finding his prostate, I massaged it gently. By this time, Scotty's begging and pleading with me to hurry had taken its toll, and I was too far gone to worry about stretching him any further. I rose up onto my knees and grabbed the baby oil once again. After slicking my cock with it, I poised myself at Scotty's entrance. I looked down into his eyes to ask him if he was ready, and the look I saw there took my breath away. Scotty was staring up at me with a look of unadulterated love and devotion in his eyes, and as I slowly thrust into him, he whispered that he loved me. At that moment, I knew what heaven was like. Heaven was being imbedded in Scotty, hearing his voice whispering that he loved me, and having his arms and legs wrapped around my body. I began thrusting into him slowly, trying to make this last, stroking him in time with my thrusts, and whispering how much I loved him between kisses and moans. Even though we had both just gotten off, neither one of us could hold out long this first time making love, and our thrusts began to speed up. Scotty came first, screaming out his love for me as he tightened around my cock, milking my own orgasm out of me."

"I pulled out of Scotty and lay down on my back, pulling him halfway on top of me and wrapping my arms around him tightly."

"Damn, Kevin. Are you trying to get the whole room hard, or what?" Paul asked, squirming around uncomfortably.

I can't fight this feeling any longer.
And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow.
What started out as friendship,
Has grown stronger.
I only wish I had the strength to let it show.

I tell myself that I can't hold out forever.
I said there is no reason for my fear.
Cause I feel so secure when we're together.
You give my life direction,
You make everything so clear.

And even as I wander,
I'm keeping you in sight.
You're a candle in the wind,
On a cold, dark winter's night.
And I'm getting closer than I ever thought I might.

And I can't fight this feeling anymore.
I've forgotten what I started fighting for.
It's time to bring this ship into the shore,
And throw away the oars, forever.

Cause I can't fight this feeling anymore.
I've forgotten what I started fighting for.
And if I have to crawl upon the floor,
Come crushing through your door,
Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore.

My life has been such a whirlwind since I saw you.
I've been running round in circles in my mind.
And it always seems that I'm following you, girl,
Cause you take me to the places,
That I'd known I'd never find.

"No, I'm not trying to get EVERYONE hot and bothered. Just two specific people." Kevin replied, looking pointedly to Adam and Jason.

"Well, it worked for me!" Jason replied, noticing Kevin was looking over towards them. "But I can't answer for Addy."

"Angel, that got me hot, but truth be told, not as hot as you wiggling around in my lap." Adam whispered into Jason's ear, blushing in an odd mix of excitement and embarrassment, before turning his face away.

"Well, what do we do now, gentlemen?" Shane asked the room in general. "It looks like Benoit and Irvine have decided what they want, and I know Kevin and Scott know what they want."

"Yeah, to get out of here before Sean ends up seeing us make love again….Remember last time, Kev? He walked in on us and tried to break the mood." Scott interrupted.

"Yeah, he asked us to tell him when we were planning to fuck again so he could bring popcorn and his wife to the show…said something about us putting on a better show then than while we were wrestling." Kevin replied, laughing.

"Hey, not my fault you two are so damn entertaining. Besides, that was the time you two got so involved in what you were doing, that when Fuzzy started screaming harder you went wild and broke the bed. Never seen that one before." Sean told them, laughing.

"Okay, anyway, back to what I was saying. Adam and Jason, on the other hand, do not appear to have come to any conclusions regarding their relationship. Paul and Mike are harder to read, but I think they are having some problems of their own." Shane told them.

"Well, the best way I can think of to handle both of those issues, is to let Mike take over the telling of what was happening on their side of the kliq before we all finally got back together." Sean replied.

"Fine, I'll tell you, but I want everyone to understand this one thing first…I make no apologies for what I am about to say. It will probably boggle your mind to hear it, but you need to know my mistakes so you don't make the same ones, I guess." Mike told everyone as he settled back against Paul to begin his part of the story.

"Kevin and Scott had just left us to jump the fence to the competition, and Sean had already made his decision to join them soon, as his contract was also coming up soon, which left just Paul and myself here. Both of us were upset about not being able to go with them, but we knew if we even tried, Vince would end up fixing it so we couldn't wrestle again, due to contract legalities. In other words, all we had left was each other. I had long since known that I was gay, as well as knowing that Paul was straight. In all honesty, Paul knew the same thing, due to our time spent together. I had not told the rest of our little family, mainly because none of them showed any signs of swinging the same way as I did. The only reason that Paul knew, was because he is extremely empathetic. After awhile, I no longer tried to hide the way I was around Paul, and truth be told, he thought it was hilarious to watch me work."

"See, in a way this was good, but it was also bad. I had fallen for Paul almost from the beginning, but I could never tell him because he was straight. It was a very bittersweet time, because I now had Paul all to myself, but I missed our brothers. I think Kev and Scott finally left, I cried myself to sleep every night for like a week straight before one night, Paul had finally had enough. He told me to quit acting like a whiny little twink, and act like the leader I had to be without Kevin there. He said it was hard enough on Sean without Scott there to take care of him, but if we fell apart too, there would be no Sean left by the time his contract was up, then he pulled me into the bed with him, laid my head on his shoulder, and told me whatever crying I felt the need to do had better be at night in the bed, and that was the way things were going to be."

"From that night on, as far as the public world was concerned, I was the current leader of the kliq. In private though, it was an entirely different matter. I pretty much did whatever Paul told me to do. Also, from then on out, Paul and I shared a bed."

"That, my friends, was pure and utter bittersweet agony. I wanted Paul with a passion that threatened to overwhelm me, but to re-iterate, Paul was straight. Then it happened. The inevitable. Those evil voices in my head kicked in, asking if Paul really was straight, or did he want me, too? Finally, I made what could have been the biggest mistake of my life, had Paul been anyone other than whom he was. I listened to the voices."

"I waited till Paul and I were in bed one night, and as per usual, I cuddled up next to him. I had a ragging hard-on, but Paul was pretty much used to this, and thought nothing of it. I debated with myself for quite awhile before giving in, but I did it anyways. I leaned up and kissed him. I don't mean just a chaste affectionate kiss, the ones that everyone sees all of the kliq giving each other all the time, either. I really planted one on him, shoving my tounge into his mouth, searching out his own, trying my best to force a response out of him. He just laid there and let me do this to him, not responding to it in the slightest. After a few minutes, I pulled back, and looked down at him, and saw such a look of shock and pain in his face, that I jumped up from the bed, and ran sobbing into the bathroom."

"Paul knocked on the door a few minutes later, asking me to come out so we could talk about this, and I admit, I wanted to stay hiding in there, but I knew he deserved the right to kick my ass for trying to take advantage of our friendship like that. Eventually, I came out and headed for the other bed. The second bed that was always in a room that Paul and I shared, but had not been used a single time since Sean had gone to Join Kev and Scotty. Once there I sat down and looked over at Paul, who was sitting in what I had come to think of as 'our bed'. Tears were pouring out of my eyes, falling down my cheeks like someone had cut a spigot on full blast. Paul, instead of yelling at me like I expected him to do, came over to the other bed and comforted me, telling me that it was alright, he didn't hate me, and it had just been a shock. After we talked for awhile, he pulled me back over to 'our bed' and told me to just settle down and go to sleep. Damn, right back where I was, before all this happened."

"So, to take a page from Kevin's book and stop for a dramatic pause with a question…queue the menacing music…Adam, Jason, this sound familiar?" Mike asked.

"Anyways, Paul holding me as I slept became quite a tradition." Mike continued, without waiting for a reply from the Canadians. "Once again, things seemed to be getting back to normal; however, I noticed a slight change in Paul. Any man that I tried to hook up with anymore, Paul had problems with on some level. To some degree, he even had problems with Kevin, Scott, and Sean around this time. I couldn't understand it. Then, one day, it finally occurred to me, and I decided to talk to Paul about it."

"Paul and I checked into our hotel room that night, just like always. We went in and took stock of the room, just like always. We called down and ordered room service, just like always. We unpacked what we would need for the morning, just like always. We called Kevin and Scott, just like always. We called Sean, just like always. We answered the door and got our food from the bellboy, just like always. We tipped the bellboy, just like always. We ate our dinner, just like always. We took a shower, just like always. We headed to the bed, remote for the TV in Paul's hand, just like always. We cuddled up together on the bed to watch TV, just like always. We started talking because there was nothing worth watching on TV, just like always. We flipped off the TV, just like always."

"Then I decided it was time. I asked Paul if he had ever thought about another man in a sexual nature. He tensed up and tried to pull away from me, but I held on for dear life. At first he just stared at me in shock, and then he slowly started to come back to me. He told me that he was not gay. He knew he wasn't gay, because he found women attractive, but he never found men sexually attractive. Except one. He started rambling about how he tried to stop thinking about me in that manner, because there was a woman that he kind of liked, but it was hard to do. Especially when we slept in the same bed together every night, but then, when the circumstances had us sleeping apart, like a stretch of three or four days off and we all went home or something, he would have a hard time sleeping, because I wasn't there. He told me that there were nights when he wished that I would kiss him again, but he had been too afraid to ruin our friendship to ask me to. He told me that after I fell asleep at night he would watch me sleep, running his hands over my hair, shoulders, and back. He told me that he had even kissed me while I was sleeping a few times. I, in turn, told him about something I had done.

"You see, one night back when we were all still together, Paul and I were in our room. We had both climbed into the same bed to combine body heat because it was freezing in our room, due to a broken heater. Long after Paul had fallen asleep, he had started having a good dream, shall we call it? He was thrashing around and moaning in his sleep. His cock was dripping with precum, and kept pushing itself into my side. He was practically humping my hip in his sleep. Instead of waking him up, or rolling away, I had rolled towards him, grinding my own cock back into him. I closed my eyes, to feign sleep in case he woke up, pulled him tighter to me with my arms and wrapped a leg around his waist. Then, I continued to dry hump him. It did not take me long to reach orgasm, considering I knew what I was doing, and who I was doing it to, but Paul had still not gotten there. He was groaning harshly in his sleep and pistoning his hips at me, hard. His hands began clutching at me, and had lowered down to clutch my ass and were snaking their way around towards the front of my body. As they stopped at my hips and began pulling down my boxers, I realized that even in his sleep, Paul would know the difference between me and whatever woman he was dreaming about so I stilled his hands and moved down his body to engulf his cock into my mouth, sucking hard and moving fast. It took me no time at all to bring him off, but now, unfortunately, I was hard again. I knew I was in for a long night…great foreshadowing for what was to come."

"Paul confessed that he had had the sneaky suspicion that that had happened He had halfway woken up that night while I was going down on him, but he had figured that in must have been a wet dream."

"Paul and I never 'make love' like Kevin and Scott do. We fuck, we have sex, we screw, we do it, whatever you want to say, but Paul's lovemaking has always been, and always will be, saved for women."

"Anyway, I'm not going to turn Paul any redder than he already is by giving the exact details of our sex that night, just suffice to say that we did, it was wonderful, and neither one of us have looked back since." Mike finished, looking over at Kevin mulishly. Mike knew that Kevin wanted him to give more details, and probably tell the Canadians a little more about what had caused him and Paul to decide that it was worth the decision to chance the friendship by taking it to the next level, but he would not embarrass Paul by doing that to him. If Paul felt that they needed to know, he would tell them, but that was his decision.

Kevin glared at Mike menacingly for a minute before shaking his head at him. He pulled Scott tighter to him and began whispering into his ear. Scott burst out laughing at whatever Kevin had said to him before calming down.

"Well, gentlemen, do you have any comments, questions, or reviews you want to give?" Scott joked.

"Actually, yeah, I do." Adam responded shyly, looking over at Paul. "What made you decide to do it? I mean, if you say that you knew that you were straight, and no other man has ever turned you on, how did you know that you would like it, or even that it wouldn't ruin the friendship you already had with Mike?"

"Do you really need to know that?" Paul asked, seeming to be embarrassed. " Okay, better way to say what I'm trying to say," he rephrased once he saw the look of disappointment on Adam's face in response to his question, "would you rather hear the story from my side, which would probably answer your question, or would you rather just have a straight answer?"

"Which would you prefer, Angel?" Adam, as always, asked for Jason's opinion.

"Well, sweetie, we're already in story mode, so we may as well stick to it. That is, if you don't mind, Paul?" Jason replied.

"Okay, but I am going to touch on some things Kevin told you guys, as well, so go ahead and get yourselves comfortable. I'm going to go to the bathroom before I start." Paul told them.

(Kliq side of the room)

While Paul was gone, Scott got up and went over to the fridge; he pulled out three cokes and headed back to the couch. Handing one to Kevin, he walked past him over to where Mike was sitting on the arm, waiting for Paul to come back.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Scott asked Mike quietly.

"I just don't understand, Scotty. Why can't he love me like Kevin loves you? It just hurts so damn much!" Mike choked back, obviously trying to keep his emotions under control in 'mixed company', which he called anyone outside the kliq.

"Awe honey, he loves you. You know he does. He's just not as good at showing it as Kevin is. You remember all the problems Kev and I had before his family finally decided to accept us? It made him feel lost and uncomfortable so, of course, our relationship became strained. I didn't think we'd make it for a while there, but then, bam! Kevin decided that we were more important to him than the opinion of anyone else, and that's all it took for his mom to accept me. She said if Kevin loved me enough that he was willing to turn his back on his family, than she was willing to love me as well. Turns out, all they ever wanted for him was someone he felt as strongly about as they did each other." Scott comforted Mike.

"I know, Scott. I know he loves me, but I don't think he loves me anywhere near as much as you and Kevin love each other." Mike pouted.

"Come on, Mike, come sit over here with us while you wait for Paul to come back." Scott said, dragging Mike back to sit with him and Kevin.

Scott looked down at Kevin pleadingly as he and Mike walked back over to him. Kevin, who had been watching the Canadians on the other couch, trying to give his baby and Mike their privacy, immediately set down his drink and held his arms open to the two approaching men, seeming as always to know exactly what his Scotty wanted, even without being told. Scott pulled Mike down with him, as they both sat on one of Kevin's legs, Scott on the left side, with his back to the other side of the couch, his legs spread open for Mike to have his between them, and one arm wrapped around Kevin, the other holding Mike's hand, Mike was on the right, his back to the bathroom door, his legs between Scott's, also had one arm around Kevin and holding hands with Scott. The three sat contentedly, waiting for the return of Paul.

(Canadian side of the room, Benoit and Irvine)

"I'm sorry, Benny." Irvine sobbed quietly. "I never wanted to hurt you. I just wanted you to have a chance at happiness. I guess I just thought I knew what was best. Once again I was wrong. I just loved you so much, and I thought that we would never have the time to see each other, and you would grow to resent me for never being there."

"Shhh. Hush now, baby. It's alright. It's all over now. You're back now. We can make it work this time. No. We WILL make it work this time. I love you so much, baby." Benoit murmured to Irvine, holding him tightly and kissing the nape of his neck.

"God, Benny that feels so good. I love you so much." Irvine responded before bringing his mouth down to Benoit's kissing him gently, at first, but then harder as their passion rose.

"God, baby…feels so good…so right… it's like going home again." Benoit rasped.

(Canadian side of the room, Copeland and Reso)

"So….what do we do while we wait?" Jason asked Adam, smiling coyly, trying his best to entice him.

"We..well…we co..Could…" Adam stammered, breaking off and looking over at the other two Canadians, realizing that was not a safe avenue of watching, he turned to look over at Kevin, who appeared safe enough, because he was sitting alone…wait a minute, Adam thought, that isn't right! Where is Scott? He looked over, and he saw Hall talking softly with Hickenbottom. What is he doing over there with Mike while Kevin sits there all alone? Adam thought to himself, growing irate on Kevin's behalf. He looked over to see how Kevin was taking this, and noticed Kevin had a concerned expression on his face, and was looking at Mike, not Scott, until he noticed he was being watched. Then his face went blank again. Kevin shook his head at him slightly, so he tried to turn to look at Sean and Shane, but his gaze was locked by Jason, and he couldn't look any further.

God knew he loved Jason. Far more than he had ever loved any other thing on the face of this earth. Woman, man, child, animal, plant, hell, even his own family, or Jay's for that matter, who were about as close as his own to him. So why was he so scared? Was it just because he had no experience of being with a man, so it scared him? Or was it because he knew deep down that this was wrong? Did he REALLY love Jay in that way, or was he just missing how close the two of them had been before Jay had had a boyfriend? Or hell, was it even that he was lonely, and since he and his Angel were really close anyways, why not take it further? He was so confused, but he knew he didn't want to see that unhappy look on his Angel…Jason's face.

"Hey, Dorkasourous?" Adam teased Jason.

"What did you call me, you Chumpstain?" Jason said in mock anger.

"You heard me, Dorkwad." Adam joked.

"Hey, dude, that like so totally reeks of heniosity!" Jason told him, before bursting out in giggles.

Adam, to keep the smiles on his Angel's face, began tickling him, causing Jason to wiggle around in his lap, and his already erect member to begin throbbing painfully. Damn, there was no way Jason had missed feeling THAT one.

"Uhm, Angel? Maybe that wasn't such a good idea." Adam whispered.

"I don't know, Addy. I thought it like so totally reeked of awesomeness!" Jason said, slipping into his Christian persona to draw Adam out.

"Well dude, it did like totally rock the party in my body, but like, you're the one that reeks of awesomeness." Adam said, automatically slipping into the Edge persona to compensate for Jason's Christian, and finding that he could easily say things this way that had been hard to say to Jason as himself.

(The Chair, Shane McMahon and Sean Waltman)

"So, Sean, how did you end up in this situation tonight?" Shane asked, after giving a casual glance around the room to make sure everyone else was occupied.

"Uhm, Shane? When we're all in town, we all stay together, you know that! I was there when you called Paul and told him you needed us, so we ALL came over." Sean said, feeling insulted.

"Damn, Sean, I know all that! That's not what I'm asking at all!" Shane told him.

"Oh! You mean why do I have to be your pet for the night?" Sean asked, embarrassed.

"Duh! Pretty much, genius!" Shane teased him.

"Oh, I lost a bet with the other guys. I said that Justin would be on time today, and Fuzzy said Justin would be late for his own funeral. So of course, that led us to this bet. I lost, so here I am, sitting at your feet, a willing slave." Sean pouted.

"Okay, two questions. First, what did Scott have to do if he lost? Second, what ever possessed you to think that Justin would ever be on time?" Shane asked, shaking his head at the foolishness of thinking Justin would be on time.

"Well, if Fuzzy lost, he had to sleep apart from Kevin for the whole weekend. Seemed worth it to me to see THAT torture take place. And I thought Justin would be on time because he was at Scotty's (Raven) house, and you know how HE is about being on time so…"

(Bathroom, Paul)

"Damnit, Paul, you can do this! Now you march your ass out there and tell those boys about you and Mike." Paul told his reflection.

But I'm scared, the voice in his head said, sounding suspiciously like the Kid.

"I don't care, Jean-Paul Levesque! You WILL do this. After all this time, Mike deserves you to tell it anyways. You might as well do it where it will do some good. If you don't do this, you might lose Mike! Which would be worse? Facing your fear, or losing the person you love?" Paul demanded of the reflection.

Well, here goes nothing. The voice said, sounding resigned.

Paul swaggered back into the room, not seeming to be looking at anything. He strode over towards his place on the couch, stopping to pluck Mike up out of Kevin and Scott's embrace. He picked him up and carried him over to the other side of the couch before sitting down and settling him in his lap. He nuzzled Mike's neck before sighing and leaning back to start his story.

"Okay, before starting, I would just like to ask that there are no interruptions. This is going to be hard for me, and if anyone interrupts, I will have an even harder time explaining. Are we all clear?" Paul stated, looking around the room. After everyone had nodded their heads, he kissed Mike one more time before starting his story.

"When I joined this business, I was pretty much a young kid. I knew no one, had no credibility, and had paid no dues, but somehow started out in the WWF. To this day, I have no idea how, but I attracted the eye of three very special men. They decided to train me to be one of the best, right along with them. I felt grateful, but there was also the fact that they accepted me. I was a shy kid, and had a hard time making friends, but here were these men, willing to take me in, and have me be one of them. That meant a lot more to me than any training they would ever give me. I need to say thank you for that, but that is a private thing, and we can go into that back in our room."

"Anyway, about the same time, another kid came in, by the name of Sean Waltman, and they seemed to induct him into our group as well. Sean and I being the new guys, kind of got real close, but there was something about Mike that pulled me to him. While Sean and I were close in one way, Mike and I gradually became close in another. Sean was, and is, my best friend outside of Mike, and to tell the truth, he is also the voice of my conscience. There was only one problem with me and Sean, that was him and I never really talked a lot, unless one of us had a serious issue. Mike and I, however, have always been able to talk to each other about almost anything. I do, however have problems talking about what I feel, so that has caused problems."

"Back when we used to draw for rooms, as Kevin told you about, I also used to try to fix it so that Mike and I would share a room, because I did feel more comfortable with him. When we would share a room, I would look for excuses that Mike was upset, so that I could get him to sleep with me, because I liked the closeness, but I was afraid to tell him that. I remember the night Mike told you about, as well. Want to know a secret, baby? I was awake the whole time, but I didn't know how to tell you what I wanted. Hell, I wasn't sure what I wanted, to tell the truth."

"Mike was sleeping in the bed with me, and like always, he was exited, shall we say? I don't know why, but that night, I started thinking to myself, what is so good about this that makes my best friend want it so bad? So I decided to do my best to find out. Idiot that I am, I didn't know how to ask, so I tried to ask physically. I rolled over to him and started trying to hump his hip. I figured if nothing else, I would at least get to feel him against me. When he turned to me and started thrusting back, I thought he understood what I wanted, but he didn't. He later told me he thought I was asleep, and embarrassed as I was, I let him believe that, but the truth was, I wanted to find out. After he got off and turned away, I figured he would let me do it, so I started trying to remove his shorts so I could go further, but he stopped me. I was frustrated from hell, but then he decided to give me a blowjob. I dreamed about that every night for like a year. He was the best I had ever had, and I was hooked. But, wouldn't you know, my fear of speaking about my emotions screwed me again. The next morning, I figured things would be different, but no, Mike seemed to think I had slept through that, so I, afraid to tell him, said nothing."

"Not too long after that, Kevin and Scott left. Now it was just me, Mike, and Sean. I agreed with Sean and Mike that I missed Kevin and Scott, and I did, because they were my brothers, but in a way, I was happy, because they gave me the excuse I needed to bring Mike back into my bed. God I had missed him while he was out of it. I had gotten so addicted to having Mike's warm body close to mine, his head resting on my chest, curled up against me so trustingly. I had almost worked up the nerve to ask him to sleep with me again when they left, and I had my excuse to bring him to my bed and keep him there. The night he kissed me, I thought I had finally found Heaven. The feelings that ran through me when Mike's mouth found my own were electric. I felt passion, I felt safe, and I felt complete. In that moment, I finally figured out that I loved him, and I went into shock. I swear, that was the second biggest mistake I ever made. Not responding to Mike when he kissed me, or at least telling him how I felt when he ran, but I froze. It scared me. I mean, I was straight, how could I love a man? And my best friend at that? Would it fuck up the relationship if we did this? Did I even want this? I mean, I'm straight, damnit! This can't be what I think it is."

"While Mike was hiding in the bathroom, I sat on my bed and thought about it. I wondered what was the difference between Mike and being with some woman that I hardly ever saw, and which I would prefer to spend time with. Mike came out first. I would rather spend time with him than with any woman that I knew. Hell, I would rather spend time with him than with Kevin and Scott, which was saying a lot. What was saying even more was that I would rather be with him than with Sean. I decided I needed to think about this, but I knew that I couldn't let Mike leave me. He finally came out of the bathroom, and we talked. I got him back into our bed, finally, then laid there and watched him sleep. This became a habit for me. Mike and I would go to bed, then I would watch him sleep and think. I know I caused some problems with our brothers at this time, but I had already started to think of Mike as mine. For me, this is a bit of a problem, as well. You see, I am VERY possessive of things I consider to be mine, and I definitely considered Mike MINE. In a way, I still do, but I finally realized that if I loved him, I had to trust him. I couldn't do that till I knew he loved me. I know now that the reason for that was because I was afraid he was going to give up on me and find someone else to love, because he didn't know how I felt."

"Mike finally asked me one night if I had ever thought about another man sexually, and I almost freaked out again. I took several calming breaths, and then I told him everything I could think of at the time. I told him I loved him. I think I told him that between everything else I managed to say. I clung to him, and in that moment, I finally felt free. It was beautiful. We talked for awhile, and then Mike let me finally have him like I had been dreaming about for years. Mike is right, to an extent. We do not 'make love' in the classical sense. I want Mike too much. I can never be calm and quiet with him. I just love him too much. I need to be one with him. I can never be slow and gentle. Mike is the part of my soul I am missing, and the only time I ever feel complete is when we are joined. I need that feeling too much. Too long had I been only half a person, that once I found my other half, I need it too bad to be slow and gentle. I'm sorry about that Mike, but you have to understand, just being in the same room with you, even after all this time makes me so crazy with desire that I am, even as we speak, almost to the point of dragging you off to the other room The only reason I don't is because I know it would embarrass you. That, you see, is why I have a hard time being affectionate with you."

"The next thing all of you should know is that Stephanie is my wife, yes, but you guys want to know something? Forgive me for saying this Shane, but it's in name only. You see, there is a reason Steph had to get married, and I needed a cover, just like Mike with Becca, but I promised I wouldn't tell anyone how it was with us. Why did Steph need to get married, you ask? No, not because she was a lesbian, but because her father was starting to guess about her REAL lover. One Shane McMahon."

"WHAT?" Mike screamed. "Why didn't you tell me? All this time, you let me think you were involved with that bitch?" Getting up from Paul's lap, Mike began to pace, anger growing with each step.

"I will thank you not to talk about Stephanie that way. Especially in MY room." Shane stated, seemingly unconcerned about what Paul had just told everyone.

"Uhm, do you guys like want us to leave or something?" Irvine asked, noticing the changing atmosphere after that last bombshell had been dropped.

"No, boys, you are fine. You've already heard the worst of it. We will deal with this particular matter later, among ourselves, won't we, Sweetie?" Paul asked, in what everyone noticed as the voice of his character 'Hunter'.

"Yes, Paul." Mike said meekly, turning to sit back down. Paul immediately reached up to pet Mike's hair. Mike lowered his head in defeat. He knew he would be punished for his outburst later, but it had just been such a shock. Why hadn't Paul told him? Okay, maybe not about the Shane part, because he could understand keeping a confidence, but at least about the marriage being a cover. All this time, it had been tearing him up about sharing Paul, but he hadn't been sharing after all. Suddenly, he remembered the look of hurt on Paul's face while he had been telling Mike that there should be trust. He was telling me that I should trust him not to cheat, without explaining the situation to me. Oh, no. I am in so much shit when we get out of here. And what's worse, I deserve it, Mike thought.

"We will talk about this when we go back to our room is correct, Paul, but for now, let's get back to these boys over here that had the problem to begin with." Kevin told Paul, in a menacing voice, letting everyone know that he was displeased. "Now, Adam, I think it would be best if you just told everyone how you feel. Or at least tell Jason. We would be happy to help you work it out, but this is definitely something the two of you are in control of."

Adam looked over at Kevin as he began to speak. After Kevin finished, Adam looked at Jason with his heart in his eyes. He hoped that Jason would realize how he felt, but he knew it was a long shot. Next, he tried the old fashioned method of trying to SHOW Jason. He stood up, picked Jason up like a baby, nuzzled his neck, and then looked over at Kevin and Scott.

"Thank you gentlemen for all your help, but now Angel and I have some things to deal with by ourselves. Chris, thank you for taking care of my Angel for me, and we'll talk tomorrow. Do me a favor? Let Vince know Jay won't be making his meeting tonight." Adam stated before striding out of the room, carrying Jason with him.

"Hey Benny, can I share your room? I think my boyfriend just dumped me." Irvine joked.

"Well, that depends. I'm not easy you know? You have to let me buy you dinner before I'll fuck you." Benoit joked.

"Shit! How about you fuck me now, and then buy me dinner AFTER the meeting. We only have time for one or the other before." Irvine countered.

"Tempting offer, but I'm kind of hungry." Benoit declined.

"I have something you can eat." Irvine offered suggestively.

"Baby, do you ever get your mind out of the gutter? Food, conversation, confessions of love, you know, the romantic shit. This relationship is NOT all about sex. Just mostly." Benoit demanded jokingly.

"Oh, alright, let's go. You can buy me dinner." Irvine told Benoit, before waving at the kliq and sashaying out the door, holding Benoit's hand.

"Okay, gentlemen, thank you for you assistance. I truly appreciate it." Shane told them.

"Not so fast, Shane." Scott told him, as he pulled himself out of Kevin's lap and strode over to Shane. "I think you and Paul have a bit of explaining to do. Why don't you come sit over here with us where we can talk?"

"Uhm, Scott do I have to?" Shane quarried, starting to back out of the room.

"Shane, you can either come over here willingly, or I can physically bring you over here. Which do you prefer?" Scott replied, advancing.

"Alright, alright. I'm coming. Happy now?" Shane replied, defeated.

Scott waited for Shane to walk past him and settle himself on the couch between Kevin and Paul before returning to his seat on Kevin. Kevin automatically enfolded Scott into his arms. Kissing Scott's neck contentedly, Kevin sighed and looked over at Shane.

"Kevin, can't you control your bitch?" Shane muttered.

"My bitch? That's rich. Just how oblivious are you, Shane?" Kevin replied.

"What do you mean by that?" Shane asked.

"Let's just put it this way, in their relationship, who leads and who follows?" Sean answered him, as he headed over to the couch to join Mike in Paul's lap. "Scoot over, Mikey, I'm lonely."

"Find your own boyfriend, Kid. Mike's taken." Paul told him.

"Uh, Paul….he was hitting on you, not Mike." Kevin told him.

"Oh. Sorry kid." Paul replied, embarrassed.

"It's okay, I was just joking around." Sean told him as he settled down on Paul's leg next to Mike. "That and I figured you might need some extra protection from the elders. You know, two of us against the three of them help the odds a bit."

"Oh, so you're taking his side, there, are you, Sean?" Scott Asked menacingly.

"I, uh, kind of have to, Fuzzy." Sean whispered.

"Why is that?" Scott asked him, glaring.

"I kind of knew." Sean whispered.

(Jason/Adam)

"Well, Jason, we have the whole night. Where do you want to start?" Adam asked as he set Jason down on the couch in their hotel room.

Jason watched Adam pacing, trying to figure the best way to go about getting Adam to open up to him. He knew that Adam had figured out what he wanted, at least on a subconscious level, but he also knew if they weren't upfront and open about this, they would end up making a mistake, and being the best of friends, that would be a very bad idea. He knew he couldn't live without Adam in his life on some level, and he would sooner be alone forever than risk the chance of losing him. Whoa, hold up a minute, 'Jason'? Adam had not called him 'Jason' in over ten years. Okay, good place to start. No, wait to see if he does it again….maybe it's just nervousness…Okay, how about I ask him when it started? Okay, maybe that would be too self-conscious… Alright, how about I take a page from the book of the kliq, and music? Okay, what song do I put to this? Got it. Jason got up and headed over to his bag, grabbing the CD's out of it.

"Want to listen to some music, baby?" He asked Adam.

"Sure, Jason, if that's what you want to do." Adam replied, feeling rather unsure of himself.

Adam resumed his pacing. What do I do now? He asked himself. Well, you love Jay, right? Well, why are you being distant? Because I don't know what to do? Hell, I don't even know if he feels the same way! So ask him, Dorkasourous! Damn, when the hell did you turn into Edge? About the same time you turned into a big pussy, maybe? What is he looking for, anyways? What is taking so long?

"Found it!" Jason exclaimed.

"Kewl! What we got? Like, something hyper? Or we mellow tonight?" Adam asked.

"Want to dance, Sweetie?" Jason asked in response.

"Uh, okay." Adam responded, self-consciously.

Jason walked over to Adam and wrapped his arms around Adam's neck. He laid his head on Adam's chest, and began to sing with the music that he had set up.

I gotta take a little time
A little time to think things over
I better read between the lines
Incase I need it when I'm older
Ohhhh
This mountain I must climb
Feels like the world upon my shoulders
Through the clouds I see love shine
It keeps me warm as life grows colder
In my life there? been heartache and pain
I don't know if I can face it again
Can't stop now
I?e travelled so far to change this lonely life

I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

I'm gonna take a little time
A little time to look around me
I've got nowhere left to hide
Looks like love has finally found me
In my life there? been heartache and pain
I don't know if I can face it again
Can't stop now
I've travelled so far to change this lonely life

I wanna know what love is
I want you to show me
I wanna feel what love is
I know you can show me

"Did I mention that I loved you, Angel?" Adam told him, as the song ended.

(Chris/Chris)

"Well, I guess Chris has become one again, huh, baby?" Irvine asked Benoit.

"Did you ever REALLY doubt we would? I mean, admit it, we were too perfect together to ever be apart." Benoit responded.

"Yeah, I guess you have a point. So, were you serious about the not fucking me till tonight? Or was that just for their benefit?" Irvine asked.

"Damn, honey, does your mind live in the gutter?" Benoit asked in response.

"Well, it has been like YEARS since we have been intimate, Chris. Forgive me if I want you." Irvine pouted.

Benoit backed Irvine up against the wall in the hall way and lowered his mouth to Irvine's. Slowly, he applied more pressure, and gradually, Irvine opened his mouth to Benoit. Benoit took Advantage by sliding his tongue into CJ's. Tongue's dancing, they lost track of where they were, and Benoit lifted Irvine's leg up to wrap around his waist. Irvine decided to help him by wrapping both legs around Benoit. The kiss became more passionate, as Irvine ran his hands up and down Benoit's body, stopping to cup his ass.

"Hey, you two, get a room!" Matt hardy hollered, stepping out of his room, seeing the two men in the hall.

"Hey, aren't you seeing Jason?" Jeff Hardy asked, as he stepped out of the room, noticing who his brother Matt was picking on.

"Jeff, what are you doing here?" Irvine asked, excited to see the younger Hardy brother. They had all become good friends while he was seeing Jason, before Jeff had left.

"Well, it is Wrestlemania weekend; I'm here to be with Matty. DUH! But, that doesn't answer my question, now does it?" Jeff responded.

"Uhm, Jeff, before you get any more upset on Jason's behalf, Jason and Chris broke up. He and Adam finally got together." Benoit answered him.

"What? When? Ya'll were together yesterday!" Matt asked.

"It happened today. Right after Adam got here." Irvine told them.

"You sure waited awhile before you got involved with someone else!" Jeff accused.

"You two are sure a fine pair to talk. How long after Amy did YOU wait, Matt?" Irvine asked.

Matt glared at Irvine. "That was different. We had been together forever, anyways, Amy was more of an affront to him than him to her."

"Well, same here." Benoit answered, not knowing who the mysterious person was, but starting to get an idea the longer he looked at the Hardy brothers. Matt's shirt was buttoned up wrong, and Jeff had forgotten to zip up his jeans. Then he noticed the final sign. Jeff was wearing black lipstick.

"Hey Matt?" Benoit called, as he turned to leave, pulling Irvine behind him.

"What?" Matt responded.

"You got some lipstick on your neck….might want to wash that off before the meeting." Benoit called back.

"Thanks." Matt muttered, turning to lead Jeff back into their room.

(Kliq/Shane)

"YOU KNEW? YOU KNEW AND I DIDN'T?" Mike screeched, jumping up from his side of Paul's lap and beginning to pace again.

"Baby, it's not how you think." Paul began to explain.

"Oh, it's not, is it? Then how is it? Explain to me exactly how it is that Sean knew, but your own boyfriend didn't? Is there something going on between you two that I don't know about?" Mike accused.

"God, no! Mike, have you forgotten that I'm married? I have children? I love my wife? Okay, in this group I guess that doesn't matter that much, let's try this one. I AM STRAIGHT!" Sean jumped in.

"Mikey, come here, baby." Paul pleaded.

"No. Not right now, Paul. God forgive me, I love you, but you have A LOT of explaining to do on this one." Mike told him.

"Well, to start with, Mike, I told Sean. I don't think Paul and him ever talked about it." Shane threw into the conversation.

"What? Why would you do that?" Kevin asked.

"Well, it wasn't so much me telling him, as him walking in on Stephanie and I one day when he stopped in to see Paul and Mike. He started going off. Said he was going to tell Paul, Vince, anyone who would listen. It took awhile to calm him down and get him to understand that Paul had only married her to cover this up, but we finally got through to him." Shane replied.

"Why didn't you ever tell us? Either of you?" Kevin asked.

"I didn't tell you because I figured it was Paul's place to do so." Sean responded.

"Okay, and you, Paul?" Kevin replied.

"Kevin, don't accuse him. There might be a valid reason. Hell, look at all the crap you've stood by me through. We need to at least know why before we jump down his throat." Scott soothed.

"Thank you, Scott." Paul replied. "Actually, the reason I didn't tell you three is because I had made a deal with Shane. They would let Mike come back if I agreed to do this, and not tell anyone. They said if anyone found out, including the kliq, they would pull Mike's contract. Once the time came and it had actually happened, I didn't tell ya'll because Shane and I had actually become friends, and I didn't want to break that trust."

"Okay, that explains them, but why didn't you tell me?" Mike asked, gradually becoming more and more upset.

(Jason/Adam)

"I love you too, Addy" Jason squealed happily, as he looked up at Adam, love shining in his eyes, a happy grin plastered on his face.

Adam looked down at Jason, and everything he felt suddenly clicked into place. This was Jason. This was his best friend. This was his brother. This was the person he had felt closest to, ever. This was the person he loved. Not the man he loved. Not the woman he loved. The PERSON he loved. This transcended gender. As he lowered his head to kiss Jason for the first time, images crossed his mind.

Jason at age three, when they had tried ice skating the first time, falling and hurting himself. Jason's mom had run out to pick him up and check him over, but he had just kept screaming 'Addy, hurts, Addy. Make it better, Addy?'. Adam had skated over to him just as fast as his little legs would go, and as soon as the two were touching, Jason stopped crying.

Jason at age four, holding onto Adam's hand for all he was worth as they walked into pre-school for the first time. Adam, had been a shy child, and was afraid no one would like him, but Jason had just looked at him and asked 'Adam, who wouldn't love you? You're perfect!'

Jason at age five, crying because he and Adam were assigned different classes at school. He had cried so badly, that they had transferred him into Adam's class after the first day. In all honesty, Adam wasn't sure who had been more upset over that one.

Jason at age seven, crawling into Adam's bed from the spare bed he had been sleeping in, telling Adam he didn't want to sleep alone. Adam had happily smiled back at him and told him they never needed to use the spare bed again. From then on out, whenever they had stayed the night at each other's houses, the boys had just shared a bed. Their moms had just laughed about it, and then gone out and bought them bigger beds so they would have room to share.

Jason at age ten, telling Adam that they were going to be professional wrestlers when they grew up. The two of them were leaving a live wrestling event with Adam's Dad, and after that event, Jason had made up his mind what he and Adam would do with their lives, and nothing anyone said would change his mind. It was going to be A&J forever, baby!

Jason at age twelve, asking Adam what the big deal about girls was. He said they had each other, what did they need girls for, couldn't they just have each other forever? Adam had tried to explain to him that sometimes, you needed a female for other things, like sex, but Jason had just looked at him like he was stupid and asked why.

Jason at age thirteen, begging his mother to let him stay home with Adam instead of going on vacation with them, because he didn't want to be separated from him for two weeks. Since birth, the two of them had never been apart for more than a day, and the thought of being apart that long had scared them. Jason's mom had ended up taking Adam on vacation with them.

Jason at age fourteen, shyly telling Adam he thought he was gay. Jason had looked so scared, like he was afraid Adam would hate him or something for that confession, but as well as the two of them knew each other, it hadn't really changed anything.

Jason at age fifteen, sitting on Adam's bed helping him get ready for his first date, chattering nervously and looking at him with a mixture of excitement (he was always excited when he was with Adam, for one reason or another), Happiness (he was always happy for Adam when Adam was doing something he wanted to do, even if it hurt Jason), and hurt (because Adam was going out with 'some girl' and leaving him alone).

Jason at age seventeen, crying tears of happiness because they had finally graduated school. They had gone out that night and started searching for professional wrestling schools. Then, gone home to Adam's house where they had watched a couple movies curled up together on the couch, talking about what they were going to do once they made it in the big time.

Jason at age eighteen, as they left home to move in together in a small apartment and start their wrestling career. He had smiled so brightly when Adam moved most of his everyday stuff into Jason's room in their small apartment so they could share Jason's room as long as neither had brought someone home for the night. 'I told you, we never have to sleep in separate beds, I love you, you dolt. You're like, my best friend or something.' Adam had told him.

Jason at age twenty, hugging Adam for all he was worth, because they had finally made it to the big time. They had gone out to dinner to celebrate. It was really the first real dinner either of them had had except at their Moms' houses since the day they had moved out, and like all the good things in life so far, they wanted to share them with each other.

Jason at age twenty-one, when Adam had walked into their hotel room to see Jason in the throes of passion as he lost his virginity to Dave. That one had hurt, though he hadn't known why at the time. He had felt almost betrayed. Something in that moment had told him that Jason was his, but he hadn't understood it. Why had they had to have all these wasted years? Why couldn't I have just admitted it to myself then, Adam thought.

Jason at age twenty-two, asking Adam to go with him to pick out the first house he would ever buy. He had drug Adam into the master bedroom of his new house 'this is OUR room, Addy' he had said proudly. 'Do you like it? And look, we have our own bathroom in here instead of having to get dressed after our showers, just to get undressed to go to bed. We even got two guest rooms so when we're here in town, we can have a couple of the guys stay overnight with us instead of having to rent a motel room!'

Jason at age twenty-four, crying because they were threatening to break up Edge and Christian, their on air personas. 'If they break us up, Addy, we won't have as much time together. It was bad enough when they separated us from Dave, but now they want to take you away from me too?' he had cried.

Jason at age twenty-five, jumping up and down excitedly when Adam had given him his birthday present, tickets for the two of them to see the Stanly Cups game four, and go into the locker-room and meet the Detroit Redwings. Hockey was their favorite sport, and although they had been to many games, they had never managed a Stanley cup game. Adam had gotten those tickets a year in advance, and even though the night the game was to take place was far removed from Jason's birthday, he knew Jason wouldn't have appreciated anything more.

Jason at age twenty-seven, shyly telling him that he had started seeing Chris Irvine. He had looked so upset when he told him that. 'Addy, I got to tell you something. Chris Irvine asked me out. Is it okay if I say yes?'

Jason at age twenty-eight, holding his hand as he was talking to the doctor about the neck surgery he would have to have. 'Don't worry, baby, I'll always be there for you.'

Jason at age twenty-nine, telling him that he and Chris were moving in together. 'Don't worry, Addy, I'll leave all your stuff in ou…I mean your room…Chris and I will take the one next to it.'

Adam finally broke away from Jason, and looked down into his passion filled eyes, seeing the same love there that had always been. How did I never understand before, he thought to himself. "Marry me, Angel?" he asked.

(Chris/Chris)

"Benny, I really am sorry. About us breaking up, I mean. God, I have no idea why we ever did that." Irvine said, as they were walking down the hallway, headed to Benoit's room.

"I understood why you did it, baby. It's okay. Really." Benoit assured him.

"Well can you explain it to me, because right now I feel like such an assclown." Irvine joked.

"Maybe because you are an assclown?" Benoit joked back, wrapping an affectionate arm around Irvine's shoulders.

"Hey, don't let me forget to get my stuff from Adam and Jason's room later. Shit, I'm going to need it before the night is over. Should we get it now, or after the meeting?" Irvine asked.

"Well, if we wait too late, they might be busy." Benoit told him.

"Shit! We are never going to be able to fuck, are we?" Irvine deadpanned.

"We might want to send someone else to get your stuff, though. We are probably the last people they want to see right now." Benoit told him.

"I have the perfect idea. I'll make a call when we get back to the room." Irvine responded.

(Kliq/Shane McMahon)

"What do you mean, I never told you? Damn, Mike, I did everything but take you by the hand and show you Shane fucking his sister!" Paul replied.

"Really? I don't seem to recall the words 'don't worry Mike, it's just in name only' or any other such thing coming out of your mouth!" Mike retorted, stopping his pacing to glare at Paul and Sean. "I mean, I can understand not telling me WHY it was in name only, but SHIT, Paul…" Mike broke off, too angry to continue.

Scott once again got up and walked over to Mike, wrapping his arms around him and rubbing his back soothingly. Once Mike started to calm down, he led him over to the adjacent couch, where he pulled him down onto his lap and began rubbing his shoulders in a relaxing manor. He threw Kevin a pleading glance over Mike's head, and then turned back to glare at Shane, Paul, and Sean.

Kevin immediately got up and walked over to Mike and Scott, where he leaned down and whispered into Scott's ear before kissing his neck and turning back to the other couch. He stepped sideways to put himself between the two men on this couch and the three on the other.

"Okay, at this point, it's a family matter. Shane, we were glad to help you, but, would you excuse us, please?" Kevin asked, menacingly.

"But it's MY room!" Shane protested.

"Shane!" Kevin warned, swinging his angry gaze over to him.

"Uh, sorry. I'll just be going now. Meeting to prepare for and all." Shane stammered before all but running from the room.

"Now, hate to do this to you, Paul, but punishment time. You too, Sean." Kevin told them.

"I know." They both responded, sounding resigned to their fates.

"Mike, since you were the one most hurt by this, you decide the punishment." Kevin told them.

"Scotty, Kev, do you think it would be okay if Paul and I just dealt with this in a private manner?" Mike requested.

"Yes, if that's the way you feel about it. You have twenty-four hours to deal with it, if you two cannot handle it before then; it becomes a kliq matter again." Kevin told them, picking Mike up from Scott's lap and kissing him on forehead before setting him on his own feet. Next, he pulled Scott up and took his hand. "Scotty and I will be back in our room if anyone needs us. We have our own matters to discuss. Sean, why don't you head over to the airport and pick Justin up? You might want to fill him in on what he missed." Kevin informed them.

Yes, the Kliq still had their problems, but then all families did. All that mattered was that, whatever came their way, they could deal with it.

"Together." They all echoed, eerily at the same time.

End
