You don't remember me, but I remember you
I lie awake and try so hard not to think of you
But who can decide what they dream, and dream I do
I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me
Have you forgotten all I know, and all we had
You saw me mourning my love for you, and touched my hand
I knew you loved me then
I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me
I look in the mirror and see your face
If I look deep enough
So many things inside that are
Just like you are taking over
I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me
I believe in you
(I believe in you)
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me (taking over me)
You're taking over me (taking over me)
You're taking over me
When the backstage door opened and the big man walked though, the agent responsible for checking in the guys was unable to prevent the shiver that went through him. The new guy was big, very big with a pointy beard that looked like something that was stolen off the devil himself. If he had to guess he would say on the plus side of six foot five. His eyes were the color of the green stuff that grows in muddy water all slimy and nasty looking, but much colder and more intense… you could just tell by looking at him that he wasn't someone that you wanted to purposely piss off. The weather outside was not cold, but cool enough that the other guys had come in wearing jackets. Not this one, he came in looking like he wasn't affected by the coolness in the least even though you got the impression that he just walked out of the fires of hell.
"I'm Tyson Tomko," the man growled with a deep voice and the agent couldn't help the goose bumps that rose on his arms. He'd been expecting the man, and had known he was supposed to be some kind of on air body guard for Christian, but this…. This demon that looked like hell would even be scared of him was not what he thought they would want. Slowly the agent nodded not even trying to speak as he stared at the man. When the low growl emanated from the man's throat the agent swallowed again with difficulty and picked up the pass and handed it to him not bothering with asking for ID. "Is he here yet?" The agent heard an excited voice ask and turning his head saw Jason Reso standing there. Nodding slowly the agent pointed to the man who had identified himself as Tomko and watched Jason's face light up. "COOL!" Jason bounced over sticking his hand out. "I'm Jason! We're gonna be working together."
Several minutes later Tyson trailed behind Jason who was showing him around chatting happily. Despite his better intentions Tyson was finding it hard to maintain his growly exterior. As he looked down the hall he spotted a blonde man he recognized as Triple H along with Ric Flair and Edge. Ric and Edge were laughing about something that Triple H was saying. Jason must have noticed them as well for he suddenly stopped. "Umm let's go the other way," Jason muttered and turning looked up at his new companion. "Introduce me," Tyson growled softly and Jason didn't hesitate in turning back around and heading towards the small group. Jason didn't consider him a cowardly man, but this was a man who was not to be messed with.
As they got closer to the group Jason could hear Batista's name being mentioned and knew they were taking about Dave again. Since the previous week when Dave lost it in the hallway, Paul and his new buddy Adam had been all over Dave. "Batista's such a fuckin pansy he probably cries during TV commercials," Adam joked and Paul and Ric laughed. Ric looked up frowning as Jason approached, but Paul didn't even bother to spare them a second glance. "Dave may be the big man around here, but I'm still THE man. It doesn't matter how many muscles he has or how much weight he can lift, because at the end of the day, only one thing matters...I'm the Game and Dave Batista is just my bitch."
Jason had been listening to the growls coming from his companion getting louder as they approached the men, but the sound that came out of his throat at the last statement was surely not a sound a human could make. Instinctively he stepped to one side putting himself out of the path of the monster. He saw Randy and CJ standing behind the group and while he hadn't noticed them before could tell they had been listening to Paul from the eerie look in Randy's eyes. Jason didn't know why Paul's comment had upset his new friend so much, but he had a feeling that the next several moments were gonna be enlightening.
Tyson stepped forward and pushed Adam out of his way without thinking twice about it. When the dumb man had the nerve to rush back at him Tyson merely turned his face and growled at him again and Adam thought twice about interfering deciding that he had some other place to be. Turning to face the new man Paul growled letting The Game slip into place and putting on his most intimidating look. "I don't know just who the hell you think you are…" Paul started, but when the man's eyes turned a dark color and he made that inhuman sound again, Paul couldn't help but pause.
"My name is Tyson Tomko," Tyson started stepping forward again so that he was chest to chest with the slightly smaller man. "What I think I am is someone you don't want to piss off. I think I am your worst nightmare. I think I am something that will make you curl up in a little ball and pray to whatever God it is you worship begging him to take me from your pitiful existence. I think I am your ruination and damnation. I think I am a solver of problems when all other solutions haven't worked. And honey…. There is apparently a very big problem here."
Paul gulped but stood his ground not wanting to look weak in front of the other men. "Oh yeah bitch? And just what is the problem, Goat Boy?" Tyson's eyes narrowed and his hands balled up as it seemed his entire body began to vibrate. Then before anyone could see it coming one of the beefy fists buried itself right in the middle of Paul's face creating a sickening pop as his nose broke. "Dave Batista is MY BITCH! And I don't take too kindly to the way you people were talking about him. Consider this your warning. Stay away from my property."
Jason couldn't have been more shocked if he'd heard the man say that he dressed up in ballet slippers and a pink tutu every night before dinner. He heard a squeak and turning his head saw Randy standing staring at Dave, who apparently had shown up sometime during Tyson's warning. Dave for his part was staring at Tyson with a look of shock that rested somewhere horror and ecstasy. "Tyson," he whispered and Jason could see the big man's body shaking from where he stood.
Silently Tyson just lifted a hand looking at Dave only letting Paul crawl around him then run down the hall. After only a brief hesitation Dave hurried to Tyson staring at him as the other man seemed to study him. "I don't like your hair, grow it back out," Tyson said and Dave nodded quickly biting his lip. Then to Jason's amazement his strange new companion smiled softly putting his hand on the back of his head drawing Dave into his embrace. As Dave put his arms around Tyson's waist and rested his face in the crook of the other man's neck, Jason watched Tyson's eyes connect with Randy's and wondered if that was really regret he saw in the new demon's eyes as Randy's clouded before he turned and ran off.
When CJ came over and put his arm around him, Jason turned his face to his lover looking at him puzzled before looking back to Tyson and Dave wondering silently what they were going to do now.
The End… but only for now.
