Chapter 1

Shannon sat with Raven in his brother's suite. Shawn was off playing with the Outsiders in Scott's and Shannon had chosen not to watch. Since they'd found out about Hogan, his friends had backed off drastically. It was starting to get to the point though where Shannon was beginning to wonder if they even wanted him anymore.

"Don't be silly," Raven scolded making Shannon glare up at him.

"That isn't nice," Shannon pouted hating it when Raven eavesdropped on his thoughts without asking.

"If I asked I'd never find out what was wrong with you," Raven reminded him and Shannon grunted as his face wrinkled up into a full pout.

"They love you, Little One," Raven said softly listening to his brother sigh.

"I know," Shannon said. "I just… I know that I'm not ready yet, but…"

"But what?" Raven asked letting Shannon say out loud what was worrying him.

"But what if by the time I am ready, they don't want me no more?" Shannon asked as his lower lip began to tremble.

"Oh Shanny," Raven sighed and took his little brother into his arms. "That isn't gonna happen. They love you… fate remember?"

"Yeah well we both know fate can be a bitch," Shannon said sourly and Raven sighed. "What if they've decided that I'm too big a freak to love anymore?"

"Not everyone is like the people that raised us," Raven said quietly.

Over the last couple of months Raven and Shannon talked quite a bit and they'd discovered that while Raven and Shannon WERE full brothers Shannon's parents weren't their common parents. Raven had yet to figure out why they told Shannon they were or how they even KNEW that they were brothers, but decided that there were more problems there than just that.

Like the people that raised him, Shannon's hadn't known what to do with a child who could read their thoughts and treated him terribly as a result. Shannon grew up feeling unloved and unwanted. He thought that there was something wrong with him and it was just now under the loving care of his older brother that he was growing more comfortable with his abilities.

Raven hadn't had anyone to love him and he went through a lot of years of self-destruction as he battled his fear of his abilities. Raven was determined that Shannon not go through what he had. The last couple months had been good for him too though. Being in Shannon's presence so much helped him lose some the darkness that always seemed to surround him. Between Shannon and Shawn it was nearly impossible to not love life.

Shawn had become simply everything Raven always wanted. His lover was so open and caring… his quick acceptance of Shannon truly marveled Raven. Shannon was firmly attached to Shawn and his hero status had rocketed to God-like status. Raven doubted anyone would ever be able to convince Shannon that Shawn was anything less that completely perfect.

Raven turned his gaze back to Shannon and saw that once again his little brother was brooding about his lovers that weren't yet. "Little One have you tried my advice?"

"Raven there IS no going slow with those two," Shannon snapped then sighed. "You can't just touch Scott's hand or face. You can't just stroke Kevin's hair or trace the lines on his palm. You can't get just a simple little kiss. They always take over and before I know it I am too far in over my head."

"Have you tried talking to them about it?" Raven asked pulling Shannon up against him.

"Right Raven," Shannon said scowling. "If you think Scotty's bad when you've hurt his feelings you should see Kevin. He gets this look on his face then he masks it like you didn't see it, but I can feel it here." Shannon pointed to his heart and Raven made soft mothering noises.

"Do you want me to talk to them?" Raven asked knowing he would whether Shannon said he did or not.

"What does it matter you're planning on doing it anyway," Shannon snapped and Raven smiled.

"Were you eavesdropping?" Raven asked faking shock.

"What's good for the big brother goose is good for the little brother goose," Shannon replied and Raven couldn't help but laugh.

"Shannon I am a Raven not a goose," he replied laughing.

"You are a Scotty not a bird," Shannon replied saucily.

"Yes but if you start calling me Scotty there will only be mass confusion," Raven replied chuckling. "Kliq members confuse easily." Shannon giggled not willing to admit that he thought his brother was right.

"What are you two talking about?" Scott asked as he walked into the suite with Shawn and Kevin trailing after him.

Shannon only giggled harder and Raven simply smiled. "Just some pea brains we know," Raven responded easily getting a glare from Scott. Shannon watched Shawn cuddling up to Kevin's side and the loving smile it got from the larger man and quickly looked away as he tried building more walls around his heart. "Knock it off Shannon," Raven said softly and Shannon sighed letting the wall crumble in his head.

Every time he tried building a wall to protect himself from the inevitable pain that was going to come when they left him to go back to Shawn, Raven sensed it and yelled at him. His brother said that he'd spent too many years separated from him and he wasn't about to let Shannon close himself off from the world now that they were finally together.

Scott watched as the happy smile that had been on Shannon's face when they entered slowly fade from his face until he was left with only the sad frown Scott was becoming used to seeing there. These days it seemed the only time he saw or heard Shannon smile or laugh was when he was alone with Raven or thought he wasn't being watched by one of the Kliq members. Scott missed his happy little baby and wondered what in the hell they had done to chase him away.

Glancing at Raven Scott saw that he looked quite upset and following his gaze saw he was glaring at where Kevin was laughing down softly at something Shawn was doing. Looking at Shannon he saw his Little One also looking at the couple but when he realized he was being watched masked his expression and looked away. He wasn't fast enough though and Scott saw the look of pain in the sweet eyes before it was hidden.

Scott turned slowly and looked at Kevin and Shawn trying to see them as an outsider would and the sight before him was like a fist to the gut. They looked madly in love. Scott tried to think of the last time they had simply spent time with Shannon and realized he couldn't remember when it was. Since the day of revelations when so many things had come to light they'd spent more time with Shawn than with Shannon. Their intention had simply been to give the brothers more time to get to know each other and let Shannon relax, but in the mean time they had somehow only made things worse.

Things with Shawn had gotten a lot better now that he was being happily spoiled by his new lover and the three old friends used the time to get to know each other again. Most often they spent their time talking and laughing about the past, but Shannon would have no way of knowing that since he rarely stuck around.

Kevin and Shawn had always been very close both being the huge sluts that they were and Scott never though twice about how their relationship affected him. He always knew where he lay in Kevin's heart and knew that Shawn was absolutely no threat to him. Shannon however would have none of that assurance. Not only was he too young and too inexperienced to understand someone as complex as Kevin, but he was at such a vulnerable spot in his life that he didn't have the ability to believe in the power of Kevin's love for him.

Instead of the five of them separating they should have been spending time together putting Shannon first helping him learn and grow, but all they'd done is push him backwards into a depression that Scott didn't know was possible for someone as bright and loving as their Little One. "Scott?" Kevin asked watching Scott's face pale and a look of horror grow there that he couldn't explain. "Baby what's wrong?"

Instead of answering Scott turned to see Shannon huddled on the couch in Raven's arms whimpering as if in intense pain. "DAMNIT SCOTT GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF!" Raven shouted and quickly Kevin took Scott into his arms forcing him to look up at him instead of down at Shannon.

"Scott what is wrong?" Kevin repeated.

"We hurt Shanny," Scott said fighting to regain control but not succeeding. "You know how he's been upset and we haven't been able to figure out why? I just realized it watching you and Shawny. Kev it's our fault… he's isn't smiling anymore cause of US!" Kevin looked up quickly at Shannon only to see Raven glaring at then and Shannon hurrying across the room and into the bedroom where the door shut with a slam.

"What the fuck did you EXPECT?" Raven snarled and Kevin almost flinched at his tone. "Did you think he wouldn't be affected by watching you fawn over your EX-lover right in front of his eyes all the time while he can't get even the smallest step towards healing from you two? Instead of spending all your goddamn time with your dicks shoved up Shawn's ass maybe you should be helping YOUR baby bird HEAL and letting him get used to feeling safe. But noooooooooooo you'd rather leave him to figure it out on his own while you three fuck your brains out!"

"Raven we haven't been fucking," Kevin said patiently as his eyes darted between Raven's face and the door Shannon was hiding behind.

"Right… the only thing stronger than a Kliq members loyalty is their lust… that is common knowledge boys," Raven purred angrily.

"Baby we haven't been…" Shawn started only to be cut off by his irate lover.

"DON'T GO THERE SHAWN!" Raven snarled. "You keep forgetting I can read your mind and unlike Shannon I have NO problems browsing through your empty little head without permission. I know EXACTLY what you've been doing. Take today for example…"

"First you fucked Kevin. Then the three of you talked about some damn bimbo you and Kevin shared when he first came to WWF. Then you and Scott fucked for awhile. Then you talked about some GUY you two shared after your… second ladder match. Then you fucked Kevin again. After that you talked about some dumbass prank you played on the Kid way back when he was still wet behind the ears. THEN the three of you fucked and at some point after you'd done that SEVERAL times you REMEMBERED THAT MAYBE you should go check on Shannon and how did Kevin say it…."

"MAKE SURE HE'S STILL ALIVE!!!"

"My brother gave you two everything. He put what little trust he had left into you fucking washed up losers and you do this to him. Shawn can rake my heart over the coals for all I care. Shit if he can even find it I'll be impressed. I mean I should have known that I was only another in a long line of play things for the boy toy. You two though… you SWORE that you'd take care of Shannon and love him, but the first time Shawn waived his dick in the air you two went running without even a second thought. Well fuck you both! I hope you rot in hell!!"

Scott was so devastated he couldn't even stand any longer and simply sank to the floor. Shawn and Kevin simply stood staring after Raven who marched off into the bedroom to tend to his little brother once more. "Oh God Kevy I can't feel him no more," Scott sobbed. "I can't feel him he's gone… make him come back please! HE took the good things away… please Kevy make him come back."

Kevin looked after Raven and wished he could, but somehow he wondered if this wasn't beyond something even he could fix. "God Little One forgive me."
