Chapter Twenty Seven
Angel sat at the airport watching people go by trying to clear her mind. After everything got settled, everyone decided it was time to go and apparently they were all coming to her house. It wasn't that she minded or was even upset about it, she just hoped they weren't expecting to be entertained. She wasn't in the mood to play the bubbly host when she had much darker and more dangerous things on her mind.
Ty and O'Haire came over and sat down next to her Ty stroking his beard quietly. Turning her head she studied him until he calmly turned his head to look at her. "Do you have a lot of experience in fighting off demons?" Ty finally asked quietly and Angel sighed waving a hand in the air. "Kinda yes, kinda no," she answered and turned her head back around pulling her legs up so that she could rest her chin on her knees. "I have a lot of books at home. Old books that my guardians gave me when I turned 18 that are all magic stuff… potions, curses, explanations of things. But, it seems like… I've always had something… in my head ya know?" Sean took Angel's hand and she turned her head to her friend and watched him nodding. "Yes, completely Dave is like that sometimes. With his heritage he has an… unusual background."
Angel nodded carefully then turned her attention back to the other man studying him. "What about you Tyson? What do you know of the things dark and otherworldly?" Tyson smiled joylessly and Angel shivered slightly sensing for the first time a different side to this man. "I know… things." Ty answered carefully and Angel nodded glad that he was on her side and hoping that she was right about that fact. Turning her eyes to Sean Angel saw him watching the bald man and pushed any worrying about Ty out of her head. Sean would never allow her to be harmed. That seemed to be the one constant in her life.
Briefly she wondered why she had always been so sure that he was on her side. There was something about him that called to her… as if something thousands of years old inside of her was awakening and reaching out to something inside of him for protection and understanding. "I will not let you be harmed." Sean replied softly. "I won't let the devil near you until you know who it is that you are."
Angel gasped and her eyes flew to his face as a cold chill ran through her body. Somehow she knew without a doubt that he had read her thoughts; but, before she could question him, Sean Waltman, Randy, Jay, and Chris came racing up giggling with Dave, Scott, and Glen following at a much leisurely pace. Angel smiled at the men pushing the feeling out of her mind then turned her eyes to O'Haire, but frowned at the closed expression on her friend's face. Something was going on with him, but for some reason he wouldn't say what. Her gut told her that it had something to do with this mystery man of his, and was determined to get him alone some time over the next several days so that they could talk.
"Angel you gotta protect us!" Sean giggled and Angel turned her attention to the three giggling bunnies in front of her. "Seany what did you do to piss them off now?" Sean, Randy, and Jay huffed indignantly and Chris flipped his long blonde hair. "We didn't do a thing! They're just… just… fucktards!" Turning her eyes to Glen for explanation the bigger man smiled. "We wouldn't let them ride on the kiddie carousel."
Sean stomped his foot and pouted. "They said we were too big!" Angel laughed softly. "I'm sorry Little Ones," she said in her soft mothering voice as Scott hid a smile. "But if you can wait 'til you get to my home then I promise you can ride a real one all you want." The three pouting men cheered as Dave arched an eyebrow at her. "You have a carousel?" Angel smiled and nodded mysteriously. "I have a rather… unusual home." O'Haire snorted and crossed his arms trying to look fierce instead of laugh. "My dear Angelface THAT would be the understatement of the century."
Several hours later as Angel drove up her long driveway, she wondered if the car following her was as quiet as hers. Her home had just come into view and as it was a little shocking at first sight being somewhat of a unique structure. It was actually a rough copy of a castle in Ireland with some of her own taste thrown in for good measure including Gargoyles on the roof that were designed by her. "Does it have a dungeon too?" Scott asked joked from the passenger's seat and calmly Angel turned her head and in her sweetest tone said, "of course it does."
"SWEET!" Jay said in the backseat and Angel giggled at his enthusiasm. "Can I see it? Does it have like cells and chains and shit?" Angel nodded fast looking at him through the rear view mirror in the backseat. "Oh yeah! It's a real working dungeon. I got pictures of a few authentic ones and copied what I liked. "Maybe we should lock Adam and Hunter up down there and forget they're there." Scott joked and Angel nodded looking back at her home. "The idea has occurred to me once or twice."
Reaching the house Angel parked her car and got out letting the men get the bags as she bounced up her steps. Touching her front door Angel sighed happily feeling truly safe and protected for the first time in several weeks. She hadn't been home since before her ordeal with Kevin and missed her home greatly. It was more than just a unique structure and as odd as she knew it sounded she felt like it was her one sanctuary on earth. Unlocking the door she left it open for the men to come in and hurried upstairs opening the bedroom doors so that they could choose their own rooms before heading into her own room.
Walking inside of it she immediately took down her long hair and crossing the floor opened the wooden shutters and lifted the glass pane behind it letting in the fresh air and sunlight. "Where do you want us?" She heard Chris ask and smiling she bounced back across the floor to stand in the doorway. "Sean knows where his room is. The rest of you can fight over whatever is left." Looking at Scott she smiled and crooked her finger at him holding out her hand.
When he crossed the distance between them and secured her hand in his, Angel turned and led him into her room leading him to the middle where she dropped his hand and bouncing over to her bed sat at the end to watch his reaction. "I think I have crossed over into Medieval England," Scott quipped and Angel nodded smiling. Scott dropped his bags and wandered around the room touching things before making his way over to her. "Somehow it is perfectly you," he said quietly and Angel could see by the twinkle in his eye that he liked it. "After all," she reasoned to herself, "didn't every little boy want to be the king of his own castle."
Scott stood by the window watching her with an expression she was long familiar with. Crossing the room he shut the door then made his way to where she was perched on the end of the bed. "You are so beautiful," he breathed as his face hovered around hers before she fell back onto the bed. Straddling her Scott lifted her arms over her head before catching her bottom lip between his teeth and nibbling lightly before consuming her mouth in a hungry kiss. "God I need you," he breathed again and she felt the slight quiver of his body as it lingered over her. Lifting her hips she lightly rubbed herself against him. "I need you more," she whispered back before her mouth was once again claimed by him.
Closing her eyes Angel arched her neck slightly as his mouth wandered from hers and down her porcelain skin while his hands worked at her button down top finally settling on grabbing each side and ripping it apart. The sight of the bra brought a growl from his throat at yet another obstacle in his path and Angel chuckled slightly as he simply tugged of the piece of silk and lace glad that she wasn't one to get terribly attached to clothing. When she was freed to his liking his mouth went back to work traveling down her neck and across her shoulders as his hands stroked her breasts and his thumbs circled the nipples, which were already hardened nubs.
"Please," she whispered again softly as her eyes fluttered open and shut. Lifting her hands from the bedspread she had been clenching, she buried them in his hair pulling him upwards again bringing his mouth to hers once more. As her tongue stroked his and his hands touched her face it was her turn to impatiently work on clothing as his t-shirt was lifted and pulled over his head breaking the kiss only long enough to get the piece of cloth off his body before it was restarted where it had been interrupted. Easily her legs slipped around his waist and wrapping themselves around him tightly, brought the two of them once again in close contact. She could hear the sounds of need filling the room, but wasn't sure if it was him or her making them.
Finally his lips were ripped from hers once more and his dark eyes watched her intensely as they both caught their breath before he finally spoke. "I can't wait to be in you any longer," he murmured and she nodded her agreement. Quickly his shaking hands pulled off her shoes and socks then worked on the button and zipper of her jeans finally getting them undone and pulled the soft denim over her legs ripping away the silken panties and tossing them both in the general direction of their other clothes. As he worked to remove the last bits of his own clothing, his eyes remain trained intently upon her like the raven he had named himself after studying its next prey.
When they both were naked he quickly came back to her hovering his face over hers for several long moments almost touching her but not quite before he pulled back and pushed her legs up as she lifted her hips to meet his first eager thrust. There was no need for speech as their eyes spoke to each other while their bodies took over what they knew so naturally. When sight became impossible because their eyelids were too heavy to remain open it was their hearts and souls that spoke to each other as encouragement was dished out with moans and whimpers and cries to God and his son.
When finally the ending came, it was Angel that found her way first as the bedspread was once again clutched in her hands as her back arched and his name rang from her lips like a prayer and a plea as she called out her love for him over and over. The tightening of her body and the sound of his name on her lips was the last bit of encouragement he needed before his head fell back and with one final hard thrust he shouted his release for all to hear. Not once did she consider that their guests would have been able to hear every sound as she didn't really care. Never again would she be afraid to show her love for this man and would happily cry his name for the rest of her life for all the world to hear.
