Chapter Eleven

Hundreds of Miles away Hunter paced restless around his living room as he waited for the person on the other end of the phone to come back. "OK, sorry about that had to get another beer. Now where were we?" Hunter growled softly as he thought about his current entanglement as Stephanie watched quietly from her chair. "Your bitch knows about me and Paul," Hunter growled angrily hearing a returned growl from the other end of the phone. "What have I told you about calling her names like that?" The other man asked quietly and Hunter bristled at the reprimand. "She's ruining everything!" Hunter insisted moving on. "I thought that you said that she would be easy to manipulate?"

The other man sighed again as he ran his fingers through the hair of the young man laying across his lap. "She will be. She will come around. You'll see." Hunter stopped glaring angrily out the window into the darkness outside. "I'll see huh Well so far all that I have seen is that your plans are worthless. I told you that your bitch wasn't going to be able to control O'Haire. I wanna know what you're gonna do to fix this!"

When he was met with only silence Hunter resumed his pacing impatient for the other man to respond. "As soon as I figure out who told her about you and Paul we'll just make sure they can't run their mouth again. Once the mystery advisor is silenced then she'll have to come running then everything will be back on track. Do you know who could be giving her advice other than O'Haire?" Hunter paused at the question and smiling darkly shook his head. "No clue man, but I will keep my ears open. Listen I gotta go, Steph is calling. I'll call you next week."

Hanging up the phone Hunter laughed softly, but let it gradually grow into a loud belly laugh. Stephanie rubbed her arms to hide the goose bumps knowing that laugh wasn't a good thing. When Hunter finally quieted and joined her sitting on the arm of her chair, Stephanie looked up waiting for an explanation. Finally growing impatient she asked, "well what did he say?" Looking down at her with a wolfish grin, Hunter sank a hand into her long brown hair pulling back on it until her head was tilted back at a painful angle. Lowering his head he captured her lips in a painful kiss drawing blood as his teeth sank into the tender flesh it found.

When he finally broke the kiss, Stephanie wiped a hand over her bleeding lips pouting until her husband put a hand on her swollen belly then smiled happily. "We have him." Cocking her head to one side Stephanie blinked owlishly as she tried to figured out how this had happened. Seeing her blank expression Hunter explained to her further. "He still thinks that he can get her." Steph's eyes got big at the statement. "HE doesn't know about Raven?" Hunter shook his head no and Stephanie giggled clapping her hands together as Hunter went on explaining the plot that was formulating in his head. "All I have to do is wait for the right moment to come along and when he is at his most vulnerable I'll tell him about Raven. Then while he's busy crying about it I'll cap his fuckin ass… maybe I'll even blame the little lap dog. Then once things are restored you and I will reveal out new baby. Vince will then change his will…" Hunter laughed again yanking on Stephanie's hair once more. "And then I will finally have what is mine!" Stephanie laughed and when his teeth sunk into the tender skin of her neck she moaned and spread her legs already wet and ready for him."
