Angel walked into the arena getting a nod from the doorman and hung her pass around her neck. Taking a deep breath to try and calm her nerves she paused a moment and looked around the backstage area hoping someone would come along soon that looked familiar. It had been several years since she was last seen here and there were very few of her old friends left. Hearing a noise that sounded like angry voices she picked a hallway heading towards them thinking there was no time like the present to start work. Nervously fingering her badge Angel made her way towards the sounds thinking about what Vince had told her in their meeting. "I'm not happy with how things are being done. I'm not saying that Steph and Paul can't do the job but… I need someone I know will keep the bigger picture in their head. I need someone I know will look out for the fans and the family atmosphere that we have always had. I need someone to oversee things and I want that to be you." Angel remembered her confusion wondering why he would choose her and not one of the many people he had working for him already when the only contact they ever had in the past was through her family. An only child and an orphan she had grown up next door to Kevin Nash in her foster home and had always been treated like another sister. Once he got into wrestling, where Kevin went Angel went until she found what she thought was a future and stopped traveling to try and settle down. Now though newly separated from a long time dead end relationship she realized that wrestling was her love as much as it was for most of these men and regretted the decision she had made long ago.

Rounding a corner she came upon the cause of the commotion and frowned at the sight before her. Looking around she checked for cameras or anything to indicate that this might be part of that night's show, but nothing was evident. Sighing she looked back at the scene trying to decipher friend from foe. Paul Levesque otherwise known as Triple H was standing with his hand around Shawn Michael's neck driving his big fists into Shawn's stomach as Randy Orton and Ric Flair looked on laughing happily. Off to one side stood Batista watching with an angry look on his face and at first she thought that possibly his displeasure was with Shawn 'til she traced the line of his vision and saw that the glare he was shooting went directly to the back of Paul's head. Thinking this was an interesting development Angel decided to file it away for future use. Stepping further into the new hallway Angel decided it was time to make her presence and newly granted power known. "Paul, what exactly do you think you're doing?"

Paul's fist paused on its path back to Shawn's gut as he turned his head hearing a voice he had never expected to hear again. Shawn as well turned his head blinking weakly trying to focus on the face of the sweet voice sure that the beating had taken a toll on his senses. Randy Orton bounced around Paul and came up to Angel growling down at her trying his best at intimidation. "Back off bitch! This is no business of yours! This is Evolution business. So just go back to your kitchen and bake something." Angel's lips lifted in a smirk as her eyebrow rose and she couldn't contain a giggle that rose from her throat. "Well aren't you just full of yourself. For your information this little… beat down of yours IS my business junior. I would suggest if I were you that YOU just skip off and go back to your playpen and let the grownups handle business." Angel heard the deep chuckle come from Batista's direction and smiled further intrigued by the big man. Randy though didn't take well to the woman's words and lifted his fist to hit her, but was stopped by Paul. "NO! You don't touch her. She is not to be hurt." Randy and Ric looked at Paul incredulously. "But Champ…" Ric whined, but Paul just shook his head and out of the corner of her eye Angel saw Batista lift an eyebrow and stroke his chin. Apparently the intrigue went both ways. Paul just shook his head letting Shawn go and the injured man stumbled to Angel's side. "No, Ric, she is not to be touched. Not ever for any reason. You leave her alone."

Shawn leaned on Angel looking from her to Paul then smirked at Randy. "Sorry Junior." Randy growled and pointed at Shawn. "He didn't say nothin about YOU Shawn! Don't worry Evolution is not done with you." Angel's eyes narrowed and a cold smile spread over her lips. "Oh yes you are, Randy. From now on you leave your beat downs to scripted situations for storyline purposes in front of cameras only. If I EVER see this happening again then not only will anyone participating be suspended but I will IMMEDIATELY disband Evolution and you'll see the cold hell of jobberville for so long that the fans won't even ask 'Whatever happened to Randy Orton' cause they won't remember you EXIST! If you don't think it can be done, just ask Paul." Randy's face turned a bright shade of red as his anger built. "YOU don't have that power!" Paul listened to the cold chuckle come from Angel's lips and knew he was in trouble. It sounded like the laugh that came from Kevin when he knew something you didn't and was about to tear off your balls with it.

"Randy, Randy, Randy…" Angel said softly leaning Shawn against a nearby wall then crossed the short distance between herself and Randy. "Didn't anyone tell you Junior? You're getting a new boss." Randy frowned and shrugged. "Yeah so? He's supposed to come today. What does that have to do with you bitch?" Paul's eyes got big and Angel turned her head to see Shawn slip to the floor laughing his ass off as he held his sides. A dark smile crossed Angel's lips and turning back she looked at Randy as Paul shivered behind his protégé. "Let me introduce myself BITCH! My name is Angel. I grew up next door to Kevin Nash. I've known your LEADER longer than you have known he existed. I am also your new BOSS." Randy paled as Shawn went into another giggling fit and Angel turned her head to look at Batista who was trying not to smile. Winking at the big man Angel turned helping Shawn up from the floor and turning her head looked at Paul suddenly sad. "What happened to you Pauly?" Paul remained silent and Angel turned helping Shawn down the hall wondering just what she was doing there.

"Where are we going Michael?" Angel asked the still giggling man growing tired already. While he looked small on TV when you put his six foot two inch frame next to her tiny five foot three inch one it made for a big load on her part. "My dressing room is around the corner." Angel looked at how far away the corner was and groaned. Shawn looked up to make a smart comment, but saw two blonde heads pass by at the end of the hallway. "ADAM! CHRIS!" Angel watched as Adam Copeland and Chris Benoit peeked their heads back into the hallway. "FUCK!" She heard Benoit curse and watched the men run towards them taking Shawn from her. Angel sighed following the three men down the hallway and into their locker room. While Adam was settling Shawn on a bench Angel studied the two men not knowing anything about either of them. She knew Chris… sort of from Kevin's WCW days, but wasn't sure he would remember her or be happy to see her. She didn't think he and Kevin ever worked out their troubles from the hell that was WCW. Angel though had always respected Chris and had been glad to see that Vince knew what to do with him. She had always thought of him as another Bret and was happy to see he was finally getting his just dues. Adam though… him she had heard mixed things about. On the surface everyone always talked highly about Adam complimenting his talent and saying that he would be big some day. However when she tried to get an insight to the man he was… that was where things always got fuzzy.

"You're Nash's sister," she heard Benoit say and turning she looked at the World Champ and nodded slowly. Kevin always introduced her as his other sister saying it was only a mistake of birth that she hadn't been born to his mother. Chris's face set into an angry glare as he placed himself between Shawn and her. "I don't know what you're doin here, but you can leave now." Angel eyed Chris and sighed as Adam came up to stand next to Chris with his arms crossed. "Chris.. Adam…" Shawn started, but Angel held up her hand to him. "No it's ok Michael. This isn't the time. Chris thinks he has good reason not to like me. You need to rest. I just hope that Chris remembers that I am not Kevin." Angel turned and left the room sighing heavily. Shawn looked at Chris and Adam's backs shaking his head. "That wasn't necessary. She saved my ass." Benoit turned and looked at Shawn. "She's also Kevin's SISTER. I don't need her crap." Shawn rolled his eyes and looked at his stubborn friend. "Yeah? Well Kevin used to be my best friend in the world and you don't hold that against me. You seriously don't wanna make an enemy of her man."

Adam scowled looking at Shawn. "Why? Because the Big Bad Wolf will come after us? Why should we be scared of some bitch?" Shawn's face darkened as he grew angry and pushing himself up he hobbled over to glare at the two stubborn Canadians. "Because dumb asses SHE is our new BOSS. She knows me so I don't have to worry about which side I end up on, but you two are unknowns. That means she is still trying to decide if you are good guys that can be trusted or scum she needs to squash under her shoe. She doesn't much look to storyline to determine the good guys from the bad guys. Chris will probably end up ok because I happen to know she respects him. She knows he got a raw deal from Kevin and didn't like it back then. YOU though toothy don't have the best reputation if you would remember and I would bet anything she isn't real sure you can be trusted." Shawn eyed Adam angrily. "Some days I ain't so sure myself."

Adam scowled as Chris put a hand on his friend's chest. "Need we remind you we just saved you." Shawn snorted. "NO you didn't actually. A five foot three inch WOMAN saved my ass from all FOUR members of Evolution! All you did was drag me in here." Shawn put himself between Adam and Chris standing nose to nose with Benoit. "I suggest you get your head out of your ass and start to realize that the past is the past. The only thing it's gonna accomplish in the present is get you in a heap of trouble and that belt ain't gonna save you in a business where it is handed out with the stroke of a pen. You better smarten up Chris." Shawn shot Adam another angry glare before stomping out in search of Angel.
