Chapter 1

Jeff was sitting on the stage watching the activities in the ring as one of Heat's matches was planned out. In the ring was the object of his affections… even if the receiver didn't know he held such an esteemed place in little Jeffrey's heart. Letting his legs swing from side to side Jeffy let his mind wander, daydreaming about the man he'd like to belong to more than anything in the world. He just knew that in his eyes, his heart, his arms, his soul there would be a love and understanding unparalleled to that which he received from anyone else. Watching his heart's love as intently as he was, Jeff didn't hear the man come out onto the stage or see him standing watching him. Shaking his head Tommy plopped down onto the stage next to Jeff smiling when the younger man jumped. "Sorry kid."

Scowling Jeff looked at Tommy then sighed and turned his attention back to the ring. "I ain't a kid."

Tommy chuckled softly at the young man's words thinking he sounded like a 5 yr old insisting they're old enough to marry their first crush. "Ki… err Jeff, he's almost old enough to be your father." Jeff's jaw dropped and his eyes began to tear as he was reminded of the slim likelihood of getting his only real wish. Seeing the tears Tommy sighed and suddenly felt like an ass. He hadn't meant to hurt the kid's feelings as he was only razzing him a little.

"I'm sorry ki… Jeff," Tommy sighed. "You know he don't look at things like that. You got as much a chance as the rest of us. Probably more." Sniffling Jeffy turned his hope filled eyes up to Tommy. "You really think so?"

Smiling Tommy put am arm around Jeff and after he'd seriously considered the possibility nodded. "Yeah actually I do. I mean these days he's pretty much a loner. He an' Stevie ain't even as close as they used to be."

"Why for?" Jeff asked realizing he had a rare chance to get to know his love from someone that actually knew him quite well. "Well… things ain't the same here as they were in ECW," Tommy began. "Vince doesn't breed the misery that Paul E did. Paul E thought that if we were miserable then we would be more willing to break our bodies on a daily basis. Which I suppose was true, but unfortunately it meant breaking our minds and lives as well."

Jeff nodded and turned his attention back to the ring. "I member when I was there. Things were pretty… bleak."

Tommy nodded then continued. "Well it ain't like that here. Vince encourages happiness. Once they weren't both miserable, Raven didn't wanna be around someone who is so continuously unstable as Stevie is. Soooooooo he distanced himself a little."

"It don't seem right that he is all alone," Jeff muttered as his heart soared to the defense of his dream man. Tommy shook his head as the thought occurred to him that this kid might be just the thing Raven needs to move his life from merely content to happiness. "Well maybe somebody should do something about it then."

"Ain't nothing I can do," Jeff sighed as Matt walked up the ramp towards them. "JEFF," Matt snapped. "What're ya doin' bugging Tommy for? He's got better things to do then fuck around with you!"

Tommy raised an eyebrow at the statement, then frowned when Jeff promptly got up and walked off. Turning his eyes to the ring Tommy smirked when he saw Raven leaning on the ring ropes watching the happenings on the stage. "You know Hardy, I don't need you telling me when I should be working and if I were you I'd be a little nicer to that brother of yours." Matt scowled before starting towards the curtain. "I don't need you to tell me what to do with my brother. He's lazy and spoiled. He needs a good kick in the ass once in a while."

"Well I happen to disagree," Tommy advised softly still sitting on the stage and now swinging his legs as Jeff had been. "And a little birdie told me that one of these days you're gonna go too far with your little brother and he's gonna knock you into the middle of next week." Matt snorted unafraid. "When someone else starts to take care of Jeff's ungrateful ass THEN they have the right to tell me about what I do to him. Until then y'all can fuck OFF!" As Matt followed Jeff's earlier path, Tommy turned his eyes to Raven and sighed at the look on his friend's face. He hoped for Matt's sake that he listened because little birds weren't something a smart man would fuck with.

Later that evening Tommy walked into the large dressing room that most of the guys were sharing and sighed when he heard Matt's voice. He was berating his brother for a blown spot during his match with RVD. Scanning the room he saw Raven staring at Matt darkly and knew it was only a matter of moments before he interfered. Looking around he noticed that RVD, Justin Credible, Bubba and Spike Dudley, and even Stevie were all on hand so hopefully things would be able to be contained somewhat. Stevie… well at least the rest would be able to help and maybe Spike could keep Stevie from fucking things up too badly. Stevie didn't do anything good for Raven's temper.

"LOOK I'M SORRY OK!" Tommy heard Jeff shout and turning his head back to the brothers sighed. Obviously Matty hadn't taken his advice which was gonna be unfortunate for him. Locking his eyes with Bubba, Tommy nodded towards Raven and was happy when the big man returned his signal understanding perfectly what Tommy needed.

Justin, who was already standing near Raven looped his arm through Scotty's and spoke softly making Tommy sigh with relief. Somehow this kid, who had only been somewhat of a watcher in ECW, never really getting involved in anything of importance, had become important to Raven and had developed some strange calming influence over him. Tommy didn't understand it, but fuck if he was gonna argue with it. "YOU ARE SO FUCKING UNGRATEFUL!" Matt screamed and Tommy's eyes flew to Raven who was barely being held in check by Justin.

Jeff turned his head from the sight of his brother seething inside. He was so sick of these public humiliation sessions Matt was so fond of. Unwillingly his eyes moved to Raven not missing the familiar touch of Justin. His head dropped hiding the sudden jealousy that coursed through his veins. It was his arm he wished were looped through Scotty's so familiarly as if it rested there regularly.

"Maybe I am as selfish as Matt says that I am," Jeff thought to himself and his eyes filled with tears knowing the sin put him just that much farther from the man he nearly worshiped. "Hey Jeff ya wanna ride?" He heard a soft voice ask and blinking looked up to see Rob looking at him concerned. Opening his mouth to turn Rob down, Jeff was cut off by his brother. "He's got a ride dumbass!" Matt snapped and unintelligently shoved Rob's shoulder. "Stay the fuck outta things that ain't your business!"

"Maybe we think your browbeating your brother over a tiny misjudgment IS our business," Bubba said quietly shocking the brothers. "No one's perfect and God knows it's a little hard to run along that rail when the dumbass fans don't move outta the way!" "LOOK STAY OUT OF THIS!" Matt snapped. "HE should have found a way to pull it off! But once again he was too lazy to try and took the easy way out!"

"The easy way?" Jeff repeated softly. "THE EASY WAY?!" Pulling up his shirt Jeff revealed the dangerous looking bruise on his side along his ribs where he's landed when he slipped. "DOES THIS LOOK EASY, YOU STUPID PRICK!? Tell you what! YOU DO THAT FUCKING STUNT AND THEN TELL ME HOW EASY IT IS! BETTER YET YOU GO OUT AND DO ALL MY MOVES AND THEN TELL ME HOW MOTHERFUCKING LAZY I AM GOING OUT EVERY NIGHT WITH MOTHERFUCKING CHIPS IN MY FUCKING BACK AND RIBS THAT NEVER QUITE HEAL! FUCK YOU MATTY!"

Tommy blinked and tried to hide his grin as he watched Jeff pick up his gear and follow Rob out of the room much to the displeasure of his brother. After Jeff had left Tommy calmly walked across the room to where Matt was shoving gear back into his bag. "I tried to warn you," Tommy said softly and Matt turned abruptly then spit in Tommy's face.

"THAT is what I think of your warnings!" Matt said growling. "Tell y'all what! YOU want Jeff Hardy all to yourself? WELL YA GOT HIM! Next time you wanna see Matt Hardy you'll have to turn on Smackdown!" With that Matt picked up his gear and stomped out of the room ignoring the chuckles following him.

Spike giggled before bouncing into Bubba's arms. "Should we party now or later?" Tommy grinned and snorted before walking over to Raven. "Looks like the kid's gonna need some help," Tommy said and Justin sighed when Raven broke free and slammed Tommy into a nearby locker. "The Rainbow Flyer is MINE!" Scotty snarled. "So keep your paws OFF him, Dreamer!" Grumbling Justin stepped forward and again spoke quietly into Raven's ear pulling him away to calm him down.

Hearing a sound Tommy turned his head just in time to see the plastic trashcan had moved across the room and Stevie storming out of the room. Sighing Tommy shook his head. "If it ain't one bitch it's another." Bubba chuckled and patted Tommy's shoulder as he and Spike left. "Yeah but that bitch ain't our problem anymore."

"Marky come on or Rob'll leave us!" Spike whined impatiently bouncing from the room.

Sighing Mark shook his head and muttered, "speaking of bitches…" before turning to follow his petite lover out. Tommy chuckled then walked over to his locker noticing the other non ECW wrestlers had gone back to their routines ignoring the outburst. "Is Stevie gonna be a problem for Jeffy?" Tommy heard a deep voice rumble softly and turning his head was surprised to see Kevin Nash standing down looking rather intimidating even to Tommy who wasn't intimidated by much.

"Why would Stevie be a problem for Jeff?" Tommy asked as his protective instincts kicked in. Stevie may be a shithead and a mental case, but he was still ECW and therefore was to be protected from outsiders. "Everyone knows that Stevie's mental especially where Scotty is concerned," Kevin pointed out unfazed. "And Jeff is so hot for Scotty he can't see anything else. I don't want that waste of air making problems for Jeff." Scowling Tommy turned and unwisely snapped at the giant man in front of him. "What fucking business is it of YOURS what Stevie does to Jeffy or anyone ELSE?"

Deciding it was time to give Tommy a gentle reminder of whom he was dealing with Kevin picked the smaller man up and slammed him into a nearby cement wall sending the locker room back into silence. "If you don't know the answer to that question already then I ain't about to explain it to you," Kevin growled. "Now I was trying to be nice about it, but since you are obviously as brain dead as everyone says lemmie spell it out for you… if Stevie Richards hurts Jeff Hardy in ANY way… I am taking him out… PERMANENTLY!"

"Kev it's ok," Tommy heard Justin say and again was thankful for the younger man's interference. "I promise if Stevie becomes a problem I will let ya know. I ain't gonna let anything happen to him." Kevin looked at Tommy thinking about Justin's words before releasing Tommy letting him fall to land on his ass on the floor. Looking at Justin for the first time Kevin kissed him on top of his head before nodding. "I'm holding you to that baby," the big man said before turning and walking back to where Shawn and Paul were waiting for him.

"What the fuck was THAT all about?" Tommy growled picking himself up off the floor. "Do you have one motherfucking living brain cell? Or is it your mission to make me spend all my time calming everyone you piss off?" PJ snapped irritated. "What the fuck did I do?" Tommy screeched offended. "All I did was ask a simple question. Why should Nash care what Stevie or Jeff Hardy does?"

"The answer to your question Pete is no Thomas doesn't have any living brain cells," Scotty said calmly. "And Thomas you dumb fuck the reason Kevin cares is because he's been fucking Shannon Moore for almost 3 years now. See if you can figure out the rest." Grumbling Justin went over to try and calm his Kliq friends who were obviously still irritated.

Raven looked down at Tommy and sighed then extended a hand to help his longtime comrade up. "Some day Thomas I won't be here to keep you out of your embroilment." Tommy blinked at Raven. "That fucking doesn't make any sense." Raven rolled his eyes and eyed the Kliq group as he responded to Tommy. "Embroilment basically means trouble brought upon by ones actions. Hence someday I won't be here to keep you from your embroilment."

Tommy shook his head and turned to look at his stuff trying to decide if he was going to shower and dress there or go back to the hotel and do it. He felt Raven move away and turning his head saw his long time friend staring at his own things as if trying to decide the same. "Hey Rave how ya getting back to the hotel?"

Raven turned to study his friend as possibilities flew around in his head. It had been a long time since he and Tommy played and even longer since he really wanted to, but somehow today at this moment the need seemed to be greater than the need for any drug, liquor, or session of pain ever had. "I guess that depends on what you're offering?"

Easily Raven crossed the short distance back to Tommy and calmly ran a finger down the side of Tommy's face then moved in closer forcing Tommy to back up until he had the man pinned against the wall of a locker. Leaning in Raven opened his mouth and let his parted lips lightly graze the side of his face as he inhaled deeply. Reaching Tommy's ear Raven let the air out hissing softly then breathed in his friend's scent smiling arrogantly when he felt Tommy shiver. "Tell me Thomas," he murmured seductively. "What did you want for the ride?"

Running a hand up Tommy's chest Raven let his foot lift to rest on the bottom of the wooden locker knowing it would place his knee just perfectly between Tommy's legs. Snapping his teeth together in Tommy's ear Raven's fingers clawed at Tommy's neck as his fingered tore at the shirt until it was pulled off the other man's body and his fingers were scratching at his chest. The whimper of need that escaped Tommy's traitorous lips left him no avenue of escape even if it had crossed his imprisoned mind.

"You didn't answer Thomas," Raven reminded his friend and chucked regretfully in his ear. "You know how I feel about disobedience." Involuntarily Tommy shivered again betraying himself yet again, but Tommy was too shrouded in memories and encased in an ever-increasing need to realize. "Please," he begged pressing his aching pelvis into Raven's knee as if it would give him some kind of satisfaction. "Please Thomas?" Raven breathed questioningly as if he didn't understand what the man was wanting. "I don't believe that is an appropriate response to my question."

"Wha… wha… what did you ask again?" Tommy asked trying to gather the bits of his shattered mind. Again Raven tisked as if disappointed and grabbing one of Tommy's ears Raven pulled Tommy's head closer until his lips were pressed against it and his teeth were grazing it's flesh as he spoke. "What do you want for the ride Thomas?"

"Fucked," Tommy whimpered this time knowing he was begging. Raven pulled his head back and moved his mouth to the other ear before responding. "Fucked Thomas? That's all? All you want is just a cheap, nameless, pointless, emotionless FUCK? You think I am only worth something like that?"

Tommy made sobbing sounds in the back of this throat hating and loving Raven's games at the same time knowing he wouldn't ever want more if they didn't exist. "Love me, fuck me, beat me, bleed me," Tommy begged softly. "Just touch me PLEASE Scotty." Straightening Raven smirked and slapped Tommy's cheeks before turning to walk back to his locker. "Why didn't you just say so Thomas? I'd love a lift back to the hotel, thanks." Shaking and grasping for something resembling control Tommy let his eyes drift shut and wondered if he had completely lost his mind.

Kevin watched the encounter with interest well aware what it was leading up to, having known Scotty for years and growled low in his throat. "Ain't nothin Kev," PJ said quietly running a hand down his friend's back letting it slip between his leader's legs where he caressed the hardened erection. Again Kevin growled, this time for a different reason and turned his head to look down at his youngest cub.

"What does it mean then?" Kevin asked his deep voice rumbling softly like thunder from a distant storm. "Ain't nothin' different than us," PJ said shrugging. "A Kliq fuck, cept this one is an ECW fuck. It don't mean anything to him and Jeff." Kevin nodded and laid a big paw on Pete's cheek smiling when his pup turned his face into his touch.

"It's been a long time since you played with Pappa Wolf, baby pup," Kevin reminded growling again in the back of his throat as PJ stroked him slightly harder. "I missed your touch Pappa," PJ whined softly. "I've been a good pup, please."

Nodding Kevin stole PJ's lips in a hot scorching kiss then smacked his ass. "Get your stuff guys," Kevin said loudly. "It's time to blow this joint." Sean and Paul snickered at Kevin's wording but wisely didn't comment; instead gathered their gear and hurried after the exiting pair. The remainder of the locker room went about their business not really having paid attention knowing that anything ECW or Kliq was none of their affair.
