"He's coming ... he's coming," Shannon shouted as he bounced into the dressing room he shared with the Hardy's and Shane Helms.

"Shannon, Santa doesn't come for another 4 months calm down," Shane said teasingly.

"Fuck off, Shane," Shannon shot back smiling, "even you aren't going to ruin my mood."

"I just got done talking to Taker and he told me they just signed them... that means he's coming!"

"Way cool!" Jeff exclaimed completely understanding what his friend was talking about. "How soon before he shows up?"

"I dunno, Marky said he thought that they would be at Raw Monday, but they could be backstage as early as tomorrow!" Shannon bounced around the room too excited to stand in one spot.

Jeff laughed shaking his head. "You gonna tell him?"

Shannon stopped to bounce up and down in one place blushing. "I dunno... I mean what if he thinks I'm a dork?"

Jeff looked at his friend confused as he asked, "I thought you were sure?"

"Well Marky said so... but what if he wasn't telling the truth?" Shannon asked suddenly worried.

"What the hell are you two talking about?" Shane asked.

Jeff looked at Shannon who shook his head vigorously. "Nothing man... Shann let's go check out the food," Jeff said pulling his friend out of the room before he could answer.

Suspicious Shane looked at Matt who just shrugged his shoulders replying, "I dunno man."

Excited the two younger men bounced to catering and grabbing something to drink sat down at a table away from the others so they could talk.

"What do you mean what if Mark isn't telling the truth?" Jeff asked resuming their conversation.

"Well, I mean what if he was teasing... or what if he's wrong?" Shannon asked worriedly.

Jeff shook his head, "I doubt it."

"Mark got it from Adams and he's his best friend... and I don't think Mark would tease about that."

"But we spent all that time together in WCW... why didn't he say something then?" Shannon asked.

"Hey boys! Whatcha talkin' bout?" Mark asked as he and Glenn walked up and sat down with Jeff and Shannon.

Grinning Jeff said, "Shannon thinks you are fibbing about Bryan."

Mark looked at Shannon acting pissed and said, "You calling me a liar, boy?"

Shannon paled slightly. He hadn't been in WWF long and Mark still intimidated him. Glenn rolled his eyes and popped Mark in the side of the head. "Be nice to Shannon Dead Ass... or I'll hurt ya."

Looking at Shannon Glenn smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry kiddo his growl is worse than his bite."

"As far as Bryan goes he's tellin' the truth. Even Mark wouldn't tease about that."

Mark looked at Glenn and growled. "I'll show you some bite later."

Jeff looked around the room seeing that Shane and Matt had just come in nodded at Shannon in their direction. Paling slightly Shannon looked worriedly at the two older men. "Be careful, Shane will hear you."

"Shane who?" Mark asked frowning at the younger man.

"Hurricane," Jeff explained watching Shannon.

Mark looked at Glenn who just shrugged his shoulders. "Ok boys y'all are gonna have to explain."

"Why should we be careful 'cause Hurricane is around and what are we being careful about?"

Jeff looked at Shannon waiting for him to answer; but, when it became obvious he wasn't going to, decided that he would. "Shannon's talking about your biting comment."

"What about it?" Glenn asked seeing that Mark was still as confused as he was.

Biting on his lower lip Shannon said, "Shane's straight."

"And..." Mark prompted getting impatient with the young men.

Reaching across the table Glenn put his hand over Marks trying to calm his lover.

Seeing this Shannon freaked. "Don't! He'll see you!" Reaching over he slapped Glenn's hand off Mark's earning surprised glares from the two older men.

Quietly Glenn said to Jeff, "Maybe you need to start explaining real fast."

Jeff liked Shane. They had grown up together and he was his brother's best friend, but he didn't like his attitude towards the male couples and was tired of protecting him. The only reason he had done it this long was because Shannon was so afraid of Shane's feelings getting hurt. Their time alone in WCW hadn't been good for his younger friend.

Looking down at the table Jeff began to explain quietly. "Shane doesn't like male couples. He gets quite nasty about it. When he found out Shannon was bi he made a big deal about it. Shannon finally had to tell him he really wasn't to get Shane off his back."

Mark glared at Shannon, "So... does this mean you are ashamed?? I'm not lettin' you mess with Bryan if you're gonna be ashamed of him."

Shannon looked up at Mark through angry tears... his young face pale. "You can't possibly understand. I would never be ashamed of Bryan, but Shane is my friend. You don't understand... you weren't there." Getting up from the table Shannon rushed from the room leaving the others to stare after him wondering.

Jeff spoke up quietly, "I don't know what happened. He won't talk about it to anyone. I know it was in WCW and I know Shane was involved. Other than that... I know nothing and neither does Matt."

Mark started to stand up but was stopped by Glenn. "Let me handle this," Glenn said quietly knowing that Mark trying to comfort Shannon was like throwing a bull into a China shop. Mark nodded his approval and Glenn got up going to look for Shannon. When Glenn left, Mark looked around the room and saw that Shane sitting with Matt staring at them with a guarded expression on his face. The older man decided that maybe he should start keeping an eye on the young Hurricane.

"Come on Hardy," Mark drawled as he stood up from his seat, "let's you and me go have a lil talk." Jeff quietly followed Mark out of the room.
