The smell of freshly baked bread combined with the scent of roasted turkey wafted through the house. The table was set with the best dishes he owned, and the cloth napkins had been artfully folded. He had even made little turkey shaped name cards, set at each place alongside the crystal goblets. Nothing on the table matched, of course. But, this was Jeff…and he was known for being a little different.
His two guests had not yet arrived, but they were expected at any minute. Jeff went back into the kitchen to get the wine bucket, which he had filled earlier with ice and beer. He placed it on the sideboard and surveyed the table, making sure everything was in place. He had turned back toward the kitchen when the doorbell rang.
Jeff squealed in delight and bounced to the front door, throwing it open. "BUBBA!! JUSTIN!!" he said loudly. Stepping back, Jeff motioned for his guests to enter. Bubba entered, handing Jeff a pumpkin pie. "I hope this is okay," he said as Jeff took the plate from him. "Kinda hard bringing a pie on a plane, ya know?" Jeff just nodded and hugged Bubba with one arm.
Justin followed, handing Jeff a bag. "Cranberry sauce," he said. Jeff smiled at him. "Thanks!" Justin nodded, smiling. "No problem," he said as he stood next to Bubba. Jeff closed the door and went into the dining room, placing the pie next to the other desserts he had made. "Lemme put this in the kitchen, and I'll show ya round," he said, putting the bag on the counter.
Jeff checked on the food still in the oven, then walked out, finding Bubba and Justin standing in the small hallway, looking at the artwork Jeff had painted there. "Did you do this?" Bubba asked, pointing to a group of symbols near the door. Jeff smiled, and said, "yeah, I did all the paintin' in the whole house." After a quick tour of the place, Jeff headed them back to the dining room.
Bubba looked at the table and laughed as he picked up the turkey placecards. "This is nice, Jeff," he said. Jeff smiled. Justin looked around the room, then turned to Jeff. "Need help with anything?" he asked. Jeff nodded and motioned for Justin to follow him into the kitchen. He called to Bubba and told him to make himself at home. Jeff and Justin finished preparing the food and carried everything to the table.
There was enough food for ten people, but none of them seemed to notice as they filled their plates and ate the wonderful meal Jeff had prepared. His guests complimented him over and over on his cooking skills. Justin reached for another dessert and dug his spoon into it, pausing before taking a bite.
"Hey Jeff?" he said. Jeff looked up from his bowl of fruit salad, staring deeply into Justin's brown eyes. Justin blushed slightly, then said, "I just want you to know how much I appreciate you inviting me here today. Otherwise, I'd be at home eating one of them nasty Hungry Man meals or something." Bubba chuckled and nodded, trying to echo the sentiment through a mouthful of carrot cake.
Jeff smiled at both men, his eyes lingering on Justin. "Ain't no big deal, guys," he said. "Nobody should be alone on Thanksgiving." They finished their meals, all of them sufficiently stuffed. Jeff glanced at the clock. "Time for football!" he said, turning on the small TV that sat in the dining room cupboard. "Y'all can go watch in the living room while I clean up in here."
Bubba smiled. "Now that would be rude," he said as he and Justin got up and began clearing the table. Jeff smiled and thanked them for the help. The three of them went back and forth, carrying the leftovers into the kitchen. Jeff had laid out containers for the food, and they quickly put everything away. Justin loaded the dishwasher and Bubba went in to turn up the television.
Jeff went back into the dining room to make sure he had gotten everything. As he turned to leave, he tripped and fell right into Bubba's arms. The impact caused them to fall over backward and hit the table with a loud thud. Justin came out of the kitchen to see what had happened and stopped in the doorway, laughing. "Damn Bubba," he said. "Can't you see a table and NOT want to put somebody through it?"
Jeff laughed as he wiggled his way out of Bubba's arms. He stood, looking at Justin. "I can't see a ladder and not wanna jump off," he confided. The two smaller men reached out and grabbed Bubba's hands, pulling him off the table. Justin smiled. "I see any kind of cane, and I want to hit somebody with it," he said. Bubba playfully swatted the back of Justin's head.
"That's just because you're a freak," the large man said. Justin turned to him and pouted playfully. Jeff reached out and pulled Justin into his arms. "Awww, I don't think you're a freak!" he said, kissing the side of Justin's head, giggling. "Tickles," he said as his lips brushed across the stubble of Justin's hair. Justin rested his head on Jeff's shoulder, wanting nothing more than to stay there forever.
He had almost turned down the invitation to Jeff's house for dinner, not sure if he could be around the man outside of work and not let his growing fascination show. Justin was enjoying the moment when Bubba spoke again. "Of course YOU don't think he's a freak," Bubba said. "You're Jeff Hardy, Boy Extreme!" It was Jeff's turn to pout.
Justin was captivated by his full bottom lip sticking out. Looking at the table, he saw one of the napkins and reached behind Jeff, grabbing it. Bubba never saw it coming as the cloth flew over the top of Jeff's head and hit him right in the face. Jeff burst into laughter as the napkin hung over Bubba's face. He held tightly to Justin to keep from falling over. Justin held on just as tightly, simply because he didn't want to let go.
Bubba grabbed the napkin from his head and stared at the pair in front of him. "Cute," he said. "Just real fucking cute. Are we gonna watch football or what?" Still giggling, Jeff took Justin's hand and reached for Bubba's. "C'mon," he said, dragging them both to the living room. The big screen TV took up the entire wall it was on. Jeff picked up the remote and turned it on.
Justin plopped down on the huge sofa, sinking into the plush cushions. Bubba looked at the big recliner, then to Jeff. "Go 'head," Jeff said. "Jus' don't fall asleep in it…it's real comfy." Bubba nodded his thanks and sat down. Justin looked over at Jeff. "So, who's playing?" he asked quietly. Jeff studied the TV Guide, then said, "New England an' Detroit are on now. Then it's Washington an' the Cowboys."
Bubba sat back in the recliner and relaxed, closing his eyes for just a moment. Fifteen minutes later, he was sound asleep. Jeff had placed a large pillow in the floor and was laying on it, watching the game. Justin kept staring at him out of the corner of his eye, more interested in Jeff than what was on the screen. When Jeff rolled over on his back and began to lazily scratch his stomach, Justin groaned softly. When Jeff glanced at him, he shivered involuntarily.
Jeff sat up quickly. "Ya cold?" he asked, his voice full of concern. Justin nodded. Jeff scrambled off the floor and went to the closet, coming back with a blanket. He wrapped it around Justin's shoulders, then sat next to him. "Ya don't mind, do ya?" Jeff asked. "I'm kinda cold too." Justin shook his head, not wanting to speak.
Jeff snuggled closer to him, trying his best to warm Justin. But what Jeff didn't know was that Justin was warm already - in fact he was burning hot, some areas more than others. Jeff saw him squirming and looked over. "Somethin' wrong?" he asked. Justin shook his head, then went back to watching the game.
He could feel the tightness in his jeans and knew he had to put some space between himself and Jeff. Using the excuse of the bathroom, Justin quickly left the room. Once inside, he leaned against the door, taking slow, deep breaths. He tried thinking of something - anything - to take his mind off Jeff. But, he could still feel the warmth of his body on his skin.
In the living room, Jeff sat on the couch, his hand rubbing absentmindedly on the warm spot Justin had left behind. He sighed, allowing his mind to wander. When he had invited Justin and Bubba for dinner, he had used the reasoning that no one should be alone on a holiday. What he didn't want to admit, not yet anyway, was the fact that he was attracted to the bald man.
Jeff was beginning to doubt himself, though. He had innocently flirted with Justin for weeks now, and the more he did, the more it seemed that Justin seemed to pull away from him. Maybe Jeff had misread him. Jeff let his fantasies take over, imagining what Justin's hands would feel like roaming over his body, what it would be like to have those incredible lips on his skin.
Jeff was so caught up in his daydream that he didn't notice Justin had been gone for 10 minutes already. A loud snore from Bubba snapped him back to reality. Glancing at the clock, Jeff decided to check on Justin. Walking to the bathroom, he raised his hand to knock on the door, but stopped when he heard a soft moan from inside. He waited, then knocked softly, asking Justin if he was okay.
Justin's head jerked up at the sound of Jeff's voice. His hand stopped mid-stroke and he took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "I'll, uh, be out in a second," he called to Jeff. "Oh, okay," Jeff said and turned to leave. He heard Justin swearing under his breath, cursing himself for being so stupid. Jeff's curiosity was peaked, so he leaned against the opposite wall, waiting.
When Justin opened the door a moment later, his head flushed red at the sight of Jeff standing there. Justin began to stammer, trying to come up with some excuse, wondering how long Jeff had been standing there. Jeff smiled softly, then reached over and gently touched Justin's arm.
Justin looked down at Jeff's hand, burning a hole in his skin. Both men opened their mouths to speak, then started laughing. Jeff looked deep into Justin's brown eyes, then leaned forward, gently kissing him. Justin moaned softly, pulling Jeff closer, and deepened the kiss. Hands roamed over clothed flesh, tight denim pressed against each other, and chests heaved rapidly as both men kissed, licked and nipped.
Jeff took Justin's hand and led him to the bedroom. He removed his shirt slowly, then pulled Justin's shirt over his head as well. Justin wrapped his arms around Jeff's slender body, pulling him closer as they kissed again. Clothes quickly fell into a pile on the floor and Jeff moved to the bed, lying down and motioning for Justin to follow.
Carefully, Justin lay next to him, his hands still memorizing every inch of Jeff's body. Jeff flipped him over and hovered over Justin, licking his way down his body. As he began to suck Justin deep into his throat, Jeff smiled to himself, glad that his fantasies were about to become reality. Justin was smiling as well, because as amazing as he had imagined Jeff's sweet lips to be, they were a million times better.
As he entered Jeff, Justin smiled at him. "You're amazing, ya know," he whispered. Jeff shook his head. "Ya got that backwards, PJ," Jeff said as he kissed the man of his dreams. They moved slowly at first, the pace increasing as their need grew. As the both reached the peak of their pleasure, they cried out each other's name. Justin pulled Jeff close and kissed him deeply.
They talked quietly about nothing in particular and kissed each other occasionally. Jeff's hand slipped down and began to stroke Justin again, when they heard Bubba calling from the living room. They looked at each, both having forgotten the other man's presence. Jeff pulled the blanket over them as Bubba approached the door. He stopped, staring in at them.
"Uh, I was just gonna ask…" Bubba stammered. Jeff giggled. "Yeah?" he said, smiling at the Dudley's discomfort. "I was wondering if…" Bubba began, as Justin shifted slightly, causing the sheet to fall lower, revealing more of their naked flesh. "Um, can I get into the leftovers?" Justin smiled as Jeff replied, "the ones in the kitchen, yeah!"
Bubba turned and started to walk away. Still giggling, Jeff called to him. "We'll be there in a sec," he said. Bubba muttered something as he walked down the hall. "We're gonna watch Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving in a minute!" Jeff called. Justin started laughing, holding his sides. Bubba groaned loudly in the hallway. "SHUT UP!" he yelled. Jeff looked over at Justin, confused.
Justin smiled. "One time, Bubba got drunk," he explained. "He started talking about cartoons, and we told him that Linus was in love with Charlie Brown. Went into this whole love scene with 'em. Bubba said it wasn't right, cuz Charlie Brown was sacred." Jeff giggled, then jumped up. "Hey Bubba!" he called loudly. "Ya wanna watch Charlie Brown and Linus?"
Bubba yelled back, "fuck you, Hardy!" Justin and Jeff both laughed loudly. They quickly threw on their clothes and raced to the kitchen. Bubba was getting the food from the refrigerator when Jeff started saying, "Charlie Brown…Linus…turkey & dressing…mmmm mmmm!!" Justin shrugged, laughing. "I dunno, man," he said, pulling Jeff close for a kiss. "I kinda like undressing myself!"
