"Come on Sean.. It'll be fun."

"No!! How many times do I have to tell you? I don't want to go!" Sean hollers out yet again.

"Please Sean? We'll all be there."

Sean looks over at Glenn, sighing heavily. "It's just.. I don't like cemeteries.. Never have."

Mark walks up behind Sean, wrapping his arms around the younger man's waist. "We'll protect you.. You know that."

Sean looks over at Kevin, Scott and Paul watching them nod quickly in agreement. Seeing his defeat the leans back against the broad chest, shrugging. "Fine..."

Ch. 2

"What time is it?" Paul asks as he opens the car door, noticing that Mark had parked him right beside a grave site that was surrounded by an old, rusty, iron bar fence with jagged tops. "Gee... Thanks a lot Mark."

"Sorry... It's a little after twelve now. Perfect timing."

"I don't like this.." Sean whimpers as they start pulling him out of the car.

"Lighten up, Baby. We're just ghost hunting." Kevin whispers into his ear, his hands running soothingly up and down Sean's arms.

"Are you sure you're hunting them or is it the other way around?"

"Come on you two." Paul calls out before Kevin can question Sean's comment.

Catching up with the others, Sean notices that everyone had brought a weapon of some sort. Whether it be a huge, sharp knife or a medieval sword of sorts.

"I.. I thought we were ghost hunting??"

"We are.. Now hush and come on."

Sean looks up at Mark, clamping his mouth shut.

Walking further away from the car, Sean started feeling more uneasy, repeatedly looking back towards it. Not paying attention, Sean runs smack into somebody as they start down a different path.

Eyes widening, Sean shakes his head, frozen in place. "I don't like this."

Glenn turns around, looking back at Sean. "What do you mean?"

"Something doesn't feel right... I don't want to go down there.."

"Baby.. It's better if we stick together."

"Please Glenn.. Tell them to stop.. Tell them to come back."

"Sean, stop acting like a child. You're just scared and your imagination is taking over."

Letting out a heavy sigh, Sean drops his head, nodding then finally turns towards the path. As soon as his foot hits the dirt, a loud snap behind him echoes through the grave yard, causing Sean to whirl around, grabbing Glenn's arm in the process.

Glenn looks wide eyed at Sean then the others before hollering for them to come back.

Mark grunts, ignoring Sean and Glenn. "Fuckin' crybab...."

Mark stops suddenly, looking down at his chest. His shirt was sliced as well as his skin. "What the fuck?"

What appeared before him was no ghost but something even more horrible.

Sean took off towards Mark when he saw the demon appear, jumping directly between them.

"You can't have him.. You can't have any of them. Be Gone!" Sean screams, glaring into the red eyes that have always haunted his nightmares.

Hissing, the demon drawls closer to Sean, transfixing the young man with his power. "Join us.."

Sean could feel his head start to swim before finally shaking it off. "NO!!!"

"You're one of us Sean. You've always been one of us.. Now, join us.." The demon hisses out, never tearing his eyes away from Sean's, pulling the young man into a trance.

"He's not going anywhere." Kevin growls, pulling Sean back against him. To his surprise, Sean wiggles out of his hold, stepping towards the demon and further away from Kevin. "Sean?"

"You're no match for us, mortal.  Take your friends and leave while you still can." The demon tells them, grinning sadistically.

Hearing the rustling of leaves, the small group starts looking around, red glowing eyes surrounding them, watching their every move.

"We can't leave without Sean." Scott points out when everyone starts backing up.

"You have no choice." The demon states, taking a hold of Sean's hand, pulling him into the darkness of the cemetery.

Drawing his sword, Mark lashes out, trying desperately to kill the demons around them.

"Foolish mortal... You can't kill a demon with a simple sword." Says the head demon, his voice carrying throughout the shadows in the dark.

"It has to be blessed..." They hear Sean whisper, wanting so much to go back to his friends but finding himself unable to, trapped inside his fog filled mind.

Not wanting to leave Sean alone with the demon clan but seeing no other choice, Kevin, Mark and the rest of the group hurried back to their car, taking off at top speed to do as Sean had suggested.

"See.. They don't care. Nobody does.. Except us.  Your new family. And soon, my boy.. You will be complete."

Ch. 3

The small group of mortals ran from church to church, trying to find someone to bless their weapons but found no priest or chapel at that matter to be up or open at the late hours of the night.

Meanwhile, back at the cemetery:

"Why me? Why not some Satan worshipper or.. or.. something like that?" Sean asks the demon that had taken him.

"Because Sean, you are one of us and besides, satan worshippers are usually nobodies that don't have a life and are practically useless to us." The Demon explains, settling back in their hidden domain.

"How? I don't understand how you keep saying that I'm one of you. Look at me! I'm human just like my friends.. My lovers.. Everyone around me..." Sean points out as he starts walking back and forth in front of his captor.

"Sit Down!" The demon growls making Sean drop to the ground quickly. "You are not like the others. You have your mother's human form but your father was not human at all. He was a demon like us." He continues, his voice now lower.

Sean's eyes widen as he sorts out the new information given. "This can't be... No... My dad was.. Was killed when I was only two..."

Before Sean could continue the demon grinned, nodding his head. "That is true. He was slayed. Sean, have you ever wondered why you've never seen pictures of your father? Why you've had dreams of us since you were an infant?"

Looking away, Sean nods silently, wrapping his arms around himself despite the warmth running through the lair.

"Because inside, you're one of us."

"No... I'm good. I'm not evil... I'm not like you... any of you. I hate death. I hate cemeteries. They creep me out. I'm terrified of monsters, demons, whatever you want to call yourself." Sean explains, trying to control his emotions.

"That's because you were raised to hate us. To fear us. Your mother would tell you things that would make you fear everything that you hate now. And as for being good... That's your mother's side in you." The demon chuckles at his last remark.

"But.. Why would my mother sleep with a demon? Did she know that he was one? Did he rape her?" Sean asks, not really sure he wanted to hear the answer.

"She did know.. But for some strange reason.. She still fell in love with him. How? We still don't understand.. But.. They had sex and she bared you. The offspring of her demon lover."

Sean put a shaky hand to his forehead, his eyes closing as a lifetime of information continued to crash into him, weighing his mind and emotions down.

Seeing the young man's distress, the demon stood, grabbing ahold of Sean's arm in the process to lift him up at the same time. "Come. You need rest.We will discuss this further tomorrow night." He says softly, leading Sean into a cavern where the floors were thick with soft hay. "Lay here and sleep."

Sean did as he was told, lying down in a far corner. Before long, he was fast asleep, confusion riddling his dreams.

Ch. 4

It was well past sunrise before the small group finally was able to find someone to help them...

"Please Father Merita. I would not ask this of you if it weren't a matter of life and death."

"Kevin. I have watched you grow into a fine young man and now you ask for me to bless your weapons?? Why, in the name of God, would you ask for me to bless death among someone else?"

"It's not what you think. They're not to kill humans or animals... See... Well..." Kevin turns to look at Mark, needing him to take over the explanation.

"Father. One of our dear friends has been captured by demons. I don't mean that he's sinning either. I'm talking about real demons. They kept saying that he was one of them but if you knew him as well as we do.. He's no demon. He's one of the few sweetest and kindest people still left on this planet. The demon was making a mockery of our swords when we tried to fight them and as they were leading Sean away... Sean said that they needed to be blessed in order for them to work against the demons. Please... Will you help us?" Mark asks, pleading with the older, Holy man.

"If you say is true... Then it is my given duty to help you save your friend. Give me your weapons and kneel."

Once all five men were on their knees before the priest, he asked them to bow their heads and pray with him as he started sprinkling Holy water over each knife and sword.

As the final words were said, he looks up, his energy drained. "Take these weapons and find your friend before it's too late." Father Merita says before handing each one their weapon then turning to leave.

"Thank you Father." Kevin says softly as they stand together.

"May God be with you." The priest nods then exits one of the side doors of the chapel.

Ch. 5

"We start your training tonight." The demon which Sean had come to find out was named, Kotrab, says as he lifts Sean up to his feet.

"Training? What training? Listen, I don't know what you think you're planning on doing but I don't want to train. I don't want to be one of you." Sean points out, the fear wavering in his voice betraying him.

Leaning back against the cavern walls, Kotrab grins before standing upright, walking towards Sean, stopping only mere inches from him. "You have no choice in the matter. You are one of us.. Or at least you have our blood in you and you will learn your birth-given duties to the darkness."

His eyes widening, Sean steps back away from the demon before him, shivering. "I.. I don't want any part of this.. I don't want to become a demon. like the way I am..."

"What? A sniffling, trembling no good excuse for a human? Do you like being scared of everything that confronts you? Do you like being everyone's bitch? Do you like being looked at as the nothing that you really are?" Kotrab asks, trying to stir Sean's emotions then grinning when he sees that he has succeeded.

"I'm Not A Nothing! I am somebody. I have people out there that love me. Can you say the same?" Sean shoots back, glaring at Kotrab.

"Yeah.. They love you being their bitch. Their fucktoy. Their slave. Their.."

"ENOUGH!!They do love me..."

"Then why did they leave you when you needed them most?"

Sean inhales sharply, turning his face away as what felt like hundreds of daggers just all shot into his heart at once. Tears welling underneath his eyelids but he forces them back, not wanting to give the demon the satisfaction of watching him cry.

"Tell me, Sean. Why did they leave you when you say that they love you so much?"

"They... They wouldn't have been able to save me anyway... They'll be back... I know they will..." Sean says, almost doubting his own words as they left his mouth.

"By then... It'll be too late."

Ch. 6

It had been weeks since Mark and the others had seen Sean. Every night they would search the cemetery, hoping against hope to find any trace of him but alas, they had found nothing.

Finally, one night, as they were about to give up, they saw the red eyes of the darkness watching them. Before now, they were never there. Nothing was... Just the calming breezes that passed through the graveyard.

"We're here for Sean. Where is he? What have you done with him?" Mark calls out, looking over at one set of the eyes but found only silence to his questions.

"Tell us damnit!" Scott hollers, heading towards the watchers.

"They can not tell you... They can not talk..." They hear, echoing through the stillness of the graveyard. The voice somewhat familiar yet not at the same time.

The small group starts looking around for the source of the voice, finding only blackness surrounding them. Drawing their weapons, Glenn is the first to speak.

"Show yourself! Tell us where Sean is. We demand to know."

A dark shadow appeared before their feet. Their eyes follow it up, widening when they see before them the man they had been searching for for so long yet he was no longer the same.

Sean's eyes were now glowing red, an evil smirk gracing his once charming, almost kid like features. His voice hollow when he spoke. "For what do you wish to see me for? Why have you called upon me?" He asks, looking at the men as if he didn't know them.

Mark starts to approach him slowly, "Sean?"

"Oh God..." was heard whispered within the group.

"Baby.. Please.. What.. What happened?" Mark continues, shaking his head in disbelief.

"I do not know what you mean," Sean starts off answering before turing to look at Paul. "Your God can not help you here." Turning back to Mark he continues. "State your business and leave this place. You are not welcome here."

"Sean please..."

"You heard what he said... You are not welcome here. I suggest you leave now before you regret it." Comes another voice as Kotrab appears from behind Sean.

"We are not leaving without Sean." Glenn states, walking up to join Mark's side.

"Why do you want him? Do you miss your bitch that badly?" Kotrab asks, grinning sadistically.

Joining Mark and Glenn, Kevin says sharply, "He's not a bitch... We love him."

"You don't know what love is..."

"We do know. Sean is our love. His smile. His laughter. The way his eyes light up when he's happy. His smart remarks when we're joking around. We do know what love is.. It's you who doesn't and I'll be damned if you take that away from him." Scott adds as he and Paul join the others to face the demons.

"If we have to, we will fight to the death for him." Paul concludes, drawing his knife as the other draw their own weapons.

Kotrab's laughter rang through the cemetery as he looks upon the group of mortals. "Didn't you learn the last time that your weapons will not harm us?"

"How about we test them and find out. Do you take our challenge or are you going to hide behind Sean all night?" Mark asks, his sword raised and ready.

"You'll be the first to die..."

Kotrab flips from behind Sean, landing right infront of Mark before going to lunge at the overgrown mortal.

Mark's sword came down quickly, piercing through Kotrab's body while the demon was in midair.

"I think it should have been said.. You'll be the first..." Mark said as the two pieces fell before him.

Sean stands wide eyed, looking at the group then down at Kotrab."Kotrab... No..." He says, falling to his knees.

Kevin quickly runs to Sean, wrapping his arms around him.

Struggling, Sean tries to get loose from Kevin's hold, snarling, growling and trying to bite the older man.

"Sean.. Please come back to us.. We love you.. Don't you remember?" Kevin says softly, tightening his hold.

Mark gets down on his knees in front of Sean, looking him straight in the eyes. "You can fight it Sean. Push the demon out of you and return to us. Return to the people who love and cherish you..."

"You... You left me... You left me..." Sean repeats over and over, shaking his head, trying to fight but not knowing exactly what it was he was fighting.

"We had to, Baby.We had to do as you told us to. We had to get our weapons blessed so we could save you. We've been looking for so long. We were back here that next night, looking for you and we haven't stopped. Please Sean... Remember how to love..." Glenn says, putting his hands on either side of Sean's face, stilling his movements."Remember our love..." He whispers, leaning down to kiss the pouty lips.

Closing his eyes, Sean melts into the kiss, opening his mouth just enough to let the bigger man's tongue snake inside, warming every chilled crevice.

"Come back to us, Baby.. We miss you so much..." He hears someone whisper, remembering the voice to belong to Paul.

Finally opening his eyes, he looks around at his friends, smiling. "I thought you had given up on me... I didn't think you were coming back..." He says softly, his eyes changing before them from the demon red to his own chocolate brown.

"We could never leave you..." Scott says softly, running his hands through Sean's hair. "Never in a million years... The demons will just have to watch our happiness and remain green with envy because they will never get you away from us again."

"Come on... Let's get you out of here and somewhere warm." Mark cuts in, picking Sean up in his arms.

"I'm warm right here... in your arms." Sean coos, leaning his head down on the bigger man's shoulder.

"We love you, Baby. Never forget that."
